Whilst gliding across the bright blue waters of this
Mediterranean coastal city you can expect a whirlwind

will be greeted with a ragged coastal line, clear azure
waters, bright boats bobbing in the harbor and a hive of
port activity.

the atmosphere that ispired Van Gogh and visit the
Glanum archeological site of Roman ruins.
Avignon has had its own particular flavor of the
disorderly uprisings arranged throughout the French
Revolution and World War II. Avignon is one of the
major urban communities of Provence, in Southern
France. It is the principle city of the département of Vaucluse, and is on the banks
of the Rhône stream, with population of around 90,000 people.

Giant of Provence. Its majestic silhouette dominates
the landscape and is classified as a UNESCO
Biosphere reserve.
From the route there are exceptional views of the
Alps in the North and the Mediterranean in the
South. It passes through vineyards, orchards, and
fields of lavender, the ideal landscape for a break in
the great outdoors.
Day 8-9 – visit Gordes and Rousillon
Hills turn into cliffs, showcasing historical layers
dating back 110 million years. Your exploration of
the Provencal countryside continues in the village
of Gordes. White and gray stone homes spiral along
the rocky mountaintop. A medieval castle adorns
the summit overlooking the valley.
Roussillon stands at an altitude of 125 feet above
sea level. Emerald pine trees grow over the base of
the hillside. The village stands at the heart of one of the largest ochre deposits in
the world. The red, yellow, and brown cliffs glow against the lush countryside. The
tranquil village atmosphere fills the meandering streets.
Day 10-11 – visit Aix-en-Provence
Aix-en-Provence is perhaps one of the most idyllic
towns in Provence, a small, classically Provençal
town, famous for being home to Cézanne. It is
famous for its fountains, as well. Some of the sites
to visit – Le Grand Marche, Mont Sainte Victoire,
Cours Mirabeau, Cathedral St. Sauveur.
