GENERATOR STATUS



CESQG (Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator): A business that generates 100kg/220lbs or less of
hazardous waste OR 1kg/2.2lbs or less of an acute hazardous waste in any calendar month.
SQG (Small Quantity Generator): A business that generates more than 100kg/220lbs but less than
1,000kg/2,200lbs of hazardous waste AND no more than 1kg/2.2lbs of acute hazardous waste in any calendar
month. SQG's can only use Project Green Sweep to dispose of universal or other regulated wastes that are not
determined to be hazardous by environmental regulations. An SQG business with waste that is determined to
be hazardous must deal directly with a permitted and licensed treatment, storage or disposal company.
LQG (Large Quantity Generator): A business that generates at least 1,000kg/2,200lbs of hazardous waste OR
more than 1kg/2.2lbs of acute hazardous waste in any calendar month. LQG's can only use Project Green
Sweep to dispose of universal or other regulated wastes that are not determined to be hazardous by
environmental regulations. An LQG business with waste that is determined to be hazardous must deal directly
with a permitted and licensed treatment, storage or disposal company.

WASTE DISPOSAL INFORMATION
Please list each waste you would like to dispose of through Project Green Sweep. Include copies of Material Safety
Data Sheets (MSDS) if available. SQG and LQG Generators may only dispose of universal and certain regulated
wastes under Project Green Sweep. They may NOT dispose of hazardous wastes through Project Green Sweep.
 Universal Waste: Under certain conditions, batteries, pesticides, mercury thermostats and lamps qualify as a
universal waste and not as a hazardous waste.
 Other Regulated Waste: There are materials that may not qualify as hazardous or universal wastes but are
otherwise banned from landfill disposal in Sarasota County. Some of these materials include electronics, oil,
oil filters and latex paints.

the best of my knowledge and belief, true, accurate and complete. I understand that this information will be
verified and that providing false information or presenting wastes that have been misrepresented or
mischaracterized may disqualify me from participating in Project Green Sweep and may result in a referral to the
Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
