Message from the President
Hi all, I hope everyone is well and having a
good winter. It’s been a little cold and snowy
but it is a good time for relaxing, maybe
rebuilding the rig or headed south to get
away for a while. It is nice to sit back and look
at ourselves or our business while it is not so
hectic and see where you are at and make
plans or changes for the season ahead. In the
summer it seems like we just push forward
with little thought of where we heading, only
the task in front of us. With the association
we would like to get past the ongoing fight for
regulation change then we could plan for
things further down the road.
Noreene is planning the upcoming regional
meetings that are held around the province.
This year we have changed a few locations.
This may help some members that had to
travel further other years and may help even
things out. We will be combining all the
members at these meetings. Noreene is also
working out the details of the AGM and will
announce the details soon.
We are getting close to having the Pump
installer course and exam set up . Thanks to
Paul Verge at NSCC for working on this.
This should be a benefit to those people that
want to be certified, both new people
entering the field and for people currently
working at it and want to be certified.
That’s all for now, please work and play safe
and try to enjoy winter a little.
John Kidson – Chair
Morning Thought
Don’t knock the weather. If it didn’t change once
in awhile, nine out of ten couldn’t start a
conversation.
