Relaxation
We’ve hand-selected potent calming oils to facilitate complete
relaxation. A well-balanced blend of geranium, basil, bergamot
and lavender essential oils combined with grape seed oil, this
essential oil mix soothes even the busiest mind and eases
tension from tired muscles.
Tranquillity
Achieve a truly blissful state with this unique blend of essential
oils. Gently floral ylang ylang, rich sandalwood and lavender
together with grape seed oil quiets the senses and enables
ultimate repose.
Dipped in decadence, this luxurious double treatment room is
perfect for lovebirds. ‘Subasiri’ is a traditional Sinhala blessing
to wish newlyweds a joyful future.
2 – Suwa Arana
Retreat to the holistic environs of Suwa Arana – a Sinhala word
meaning ‘healing room’. Soak in the time-tested therapies of
Ayurvedic tradition, a world away from anywhere.
3 – Roo Soba
Meaning ‘beauty’ in Sinhala, the Roo Soba room serves up a
range of beauty treatments, whether you’re after luscious locks,
a creamy complexion or a pampering mani-pedi.

This spirited blend seeks to awaken the senses with a combination
of arnica oil and the essential oils of rosemary, lavender and zesty
peppermint. A reviving, all-enveloping aroma.
Sinhala for ‘radiant skin’, the Chavi Praba room is devoted to
cleansing, exfoliating scrubs and nourishing wraps, all made
from exotic local ingredients.

Feel your vital energy restored with this powerful mix of essential
oils. Spicy lemongrass, black pepper, tangy lemon and the
menthol waft of eucalyptus combine to relieve pain, calm muscular
stress and improve blood circulation. Grape seed oil gives your

Steeped in traditional, this ancient Thai massage system features
the rhythmic kneading of pressure points along with invigorating
stretching of the entire body. Gentle pushes and pulls are combined

Sun Aqua Spa offers a rich range of facials that can treat anything
from fatigue to sunburn to stress. To enhance your beach-side
beauty, schedule a nourishing, exfoliating facial, or plan one for
every day of your stay and go home looking luminous. For best
results, gentlemen should shave around four hours prior to
receiving a facial.
Sink into island pace by spending some quiet time in our
relaxation area before and after your treatment. Use your time
at Sun Aqua Spa to meditate, or sip on some herbal tea while
you enjoy some downtime.
Exfoliation
We know the food at Sun Aqua Resorts is irresistible, but we do
ask that you refrain from bringing any into the Spa area. We also
ask you not to chew gum, smoke or make loud noises around
the treatment rooms.
Appointments
Sun Aqua Spa accepts walk-ins when possible, but to avoid having
to wait, we recommend you make an appointment. If you schedule
at least two hours before your treatment we’ll have time to prepare
your room and you’ll have time to enjoy the Spa facilities.
Cancellation Policy
If you can’t make it to your appointment, please let us know as soon
as you can. Cancellations received within three hours of scheduled
appointment will be charged at 50% the cost of the service.
Dress Code
For the comfort of all Sun Aqua Spa guests, we request you remain
appropriately attired at all times. We provide a langote (loincloth)
for use during treatments, or you are welcome to wear your own
undergarments, as Sun Aqua does not encourage nudity.
Aromatherapy Oils
If you’ve just had a treatment with one of our deliciously fragrant
aromatherapy oils, let the oils soak into your skin for at least a few
hours before showering. You’ll not only smell great, you’ll reap the
full holistic benefits of essential oil.
Exfoliation is an important part of any effective facial. Using
nutrient-packed natural ingredients our scrubs remove dead
cells from the skin and cleanse it from impurities. This leaves
your skin perfectly primed for your facial treatment.

Wet Area
All prices are quoted in Sri Lankan rupees and are inclusive of taxes.
Our luxurious wet area is free for guests of the Spa. Arrive at
least 30 minutes before your appointment to make the most
of our steam room, sauna and pool. Just remember to shower
before using the Wet Area.
Payments
Gift Certificates
Give the gift of relaxation. Sun Aqua Spa gift certificates are
available at the Spa. Please note they are not exchangeable
for money, but you can use them as a partial payment, or for
more than one treatment, up to their value.
You don’t need to worry about anything when you come for a Sun
Aqua Spa treatment – and that includes handling cash. For your
convenience, we will charge all treatments and retail products to
your room account to be settled on departure.
