Hunting in
Austria
Austria can be counted among the traditional hunting destinations. Besides the relatively short travel distance from Germany, the same language and hunting-related mindset,
the Alps offer extraordinary hunting opportunities in beautiful landscapes. Where else
can hunting, vacation and nature experiences be combined as ideally as in this unique
mountain world?
Whether you opt for the cozy guest house, a vacation home or a stylish hunting lodge
as starting point of your hunt – you will be delighted by the hospitality and the hunting
skills of your guides. Being mountain experienced hunters, they guarantee your personal
safety, and soon the hunting guide becomes a good friend, for whom the hunting experience is as important as hunting success.
Hunting grounds
The different hunting grounds of our Partner Marcati Hotels & More are located between 1,200 and 2,500 meters above sea level. Thus, we can offer chamois hunting also to our elderly guests.
Various hunting lodges are provided in the game reserves. Upon request we can organize a small lunch for you. Once you have made a booking, you will receive information
about hunting gear and suitable weapons. If you do not own a gun, you can rent one.
Hunting ground Reith bei Seefeld
The hunting ground Reith is located directly adjacent to Seefeld. In this very well accessible area, it is possible to hunt red deer, roe deer and chamois and there are sufficient
hunting boxes available. The hunt does not require long marches and is therefore optimally suited for elderly guests.
Reith is a municipality with 1,148 inhabitants (as of April 1, 2009) in the district Innsbruck Land in Tyrol (Austria).
The small town is situated at the foot of the 2,374 meters high Reither Spitze at the
southern edge of the Seefelder Plateau, above the Inntal, from where a road leads over
the Zirler Berg. The municipal area includes the villages Auland, Gschwandt, Krinz, Leithen, Mühlberg and the Haufendorf Reith.

Hunting ground Navis
Being located at more than 1,400 meters above sea level, the game reserve in Navis
captivates with its remote, quiet location and invites you with its rustic huts to enjoy exceptional hunting experiences. Particularly Chamois and Marmot live in this area, however Roe Deer and Red Deer hunting is of course also possible. Depending on the season, Game or Mountain Cock hunting is possible as well.
Navis is located in the 10 kilometers long Navistal, which branches off eastward from
the Wipptal at Matrei and which is run through by the Navisbach. The vast municipal
area stretches from the Sill to the 2,359 meters high Klammjoch and to the 2,886 meters high Lizumer Reckner in the Tux Alps.
Accommodation
Blasigler Alm – Winkelhütte (1600 m)
Throughout the hunting grounds there are various hunting lodges at your disposal,
which can be used free of charge (by our guests) during the hunt.
The hunting lodge in Navis offers kitchen, bathroom, restroom, sleeping accommodation, a hot tub made of original Tyrolean larch wood and much more.
In case you wish to stay a few days at the lodge, we are happy to organize this for you.
Upon request we can also organize a small lunch for you. Once you have made a booking, you will receive information about hunting gear and suitable weapons.
