Then they hang up their coats, and put
away their book bags, water bottles and
packed lunches…
…...and then they let teacher
know they are here, by putting
their name card in a box.

Charlie, Anika and Sophie made friends with each other by playing.
“Look,” says Anika,
“I’m painting the spots
on a giraffe.”
“I can see eight spots,” says
Sophie …who is painting a giant
green leaf with Charlie.
Charlie laughs and says,
“will your giraffe eat our
green leaf?”

What if I’m hungry?
At lunchtime, dinner ladies will help you pick the food you like.
Charlie has chicken, green beans, carrots and potato. Anika loves school lunches!
In the morning break-time you can
have fruit and a drink. Sophie is ‘fruit
monitor’ today and offers fruit to
everyone. Charlie takes his favourite...

Anika likes bananas, and is very thirsty.

What if I need the toilet?
“I need the toilet,”
says Anika.
“Don’t forget to
wash your hands,”
says the teacher.
Anika likes to wash her hands because
the sink is massive and shiny.
Anika goes to the toilet on her own, and
notices the toilet door has a dolphin on it.

What happens at home-time?
When it’s time to go home, you will put on your coat and collect your things.
While you wait for your adult to collect you, you will sit in a circle and teacher
will read you a story.
Charlie, Sophie and Anika have had a lovely day in Ryfield Primary School playing
with their friends.
