anxiety? In this 6 week workshop you will find

Have you participated in a clinical trial? Meet Mary
Dinnan, PA to learn more about how a variety of
studies are offered specifically for older adults in
our community. There is compensation given to
those that enter each trial. Learn more about
volunteer opportunities as well.
Learning to Play Mah Jongg

What an exciting and fun game! As one of our
members shared “Thank you so much for the Mah
Jongg classes. I love the game and all my new
Mah Jongg players.” – Karen Hayes. Join other
Mah Jongg enthusiasts to enjoy this very popular
tile game. Taught by Syd Hildebrand, you will
enjoy these progressive lessons through the month
of May. The fee is $3 per person per class for a
total of $15 per person. The first class will be a 2
hour lesson for a total of 5 classes.

as she shares her extensive knowledge of all needle

making and the fashionable dresses, jewelry and

is needed to make the dolls. Terie will guide you
through the process. Each doll accompanies the

American artist. She was best known for her
paintings of enlarged flowers, New York
skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. O'Keeffe
has been recognized as the "Mother of American
modernism.”

and embellish each doll.

Caring Bouquets – Make & Take
Tuesday, May 16 11:30am
Bring a mug or cup and be guided by our dedicated
volunteers to make a mini-bouquet. You can take
this arrangement with you to enjoy at home. We
will also have the bouquets available. If you can
suggest a community to deliver to, please feel free
to deliver a bouquet. Sharon Myers, a local
volunteer will be delivering an assortment of
flowers, donated by Trader Joe’s.

The History of Mount Hope Cemetery

Rock The Garden – Intergenerational Event

Today we will have the pleasure of meeting with
our little friends from the YMCA preschool
program. Upon arrival, we will gather the rocks
decorated last month (as part of the Kindness Rocks
Project) and make our way to the community
garden. Please join us for what will be a precious
intergenerational event!

Lynn Sullivan: Holy Sepulchre and
Ascension Garden - Preplanning
Monday, May 22 11:00am Preplanning is not
exactly dinner conversation. It is part of life and we
often do not think about it. Not only will it ease the
worry for your family, you can “rest” assured that
your final arrangements will be handled as you
wish. Meet Lynn Sullivan to learn more about the
history of Holy Sepulchre, the Ascension Garden
and preplanning.

Lifespan. He began his second career over 12 years

sponsored by senior centers, travel agents, churches,
local clubs, and more. Please do not remove the
fliers; staff will be happy to make copies for you.
