Force Tuition Assistance (TA) for the first time or Airmen who have been inactive for a year
or more. Topics include: accreditation, transfer credit, testing, college fees, course delivery
method, on-base programs, local school options, on-line programs, evaluated education plan,
MilTA policy and procedures, Pell grants and other funding sources, course enrollment
changes, foreign transcript evaluation, AFVEC and CCAF degree requirements.

ACCESSING HIGHER EDUCATION TRANSITION ASSISTANCE: This two-day
seminar is for members interested in pursuing higher education as part of their individual
transition plan. You will work collaboratively with counselors to identify education
requirements that support your personal goals. Topics include: achieving academic success,
researching and comparing institutions, financing higher education, and admissions

AIR FORCE CREDENTIALING OPPORTUNTIES ON-LINE (AF COOL): This online
AFVEC tool helps airmen navigate through the various civilian credentialing opportunities

The DoD SkillBridge initiative promotes the civilian job training authority available for
transitioning military service members. Members meeting certain qualifications can
participate in civilian job and employment training, including apprenticeships and
internships. Training can take place starting up to six months prior to a service member's

Monday thru Friday 0730 - 1600 COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF THE AIR FORCE: Eglin education counselors serve as
academic advisors for CCAF students and are the primary means of communication between
CCAF and Air Force enlisted personnel. Academic credit for CCAF is earned at technical
schools, duty stations, and college campuses throughout the world. Specific degree programs
in each Air Force specialty area are designed to provide students with the theoretical
background to perform as technical experts and competent supervisors in their fields. Walkins are welcome or call 882-8141 to schedule an appointment with a counselor. Send
