Meet some amazing live animals! Learn
how they move, and what they eat,
where they live and how they survive.
TOOLS, TOYS & TALES OF EARLY
NATIVE AMERICANS
(Pre-K through grade 2)
Travel back in time as we explore what
life was like for Native American children
right here in the Hudson Valley 400 years
ago. We will play games of skill and learn
the lessons these games would teach the
Lenape children.
PALEONTOLOGY
(Grades 2 through 4)
Fossils are fascinating! How are fossils
made and what can we learn from them?
Examine real fossils of marine life and
dinosaurs, then meet some live animals that
are descendants of those extinct giants.
REPTILES
(Grade 2 through 5)
Meet some really cool live reptiles,
including snakes, turtles and a lizard.
Learn about the unique adaptations that
have helped these species survive for
millions of years.
INSECTS AND THEIR ALLIES

A Museum Birthday Celebration Program is $150 for Museum
members ($195 for non-members)…plus a mileage fee.
Your celebration program includes:
• A 40 minute program with a Museum Educator, many
with live animals!
• Museum T-shirt for the birthday child
• Classmates receive a museum logo cup AND a one-day
free admission family pass for a visit to our Wildlife
Education Center.
To book your celebration program,
follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Talk to your child’s teacher to decide on best dates and times, and to
choose a program.
Step 2: Call the Education Department at 534-5506 x211 to reserve your program.
Step 3: Complete the reservation form. Be sure to find out the number ofstudents in
the class and secure an authorizing signature from the school (usually the
classroom teacher or principal).
Step 4: Return the reservation form to the Museum with payment information
