LONG CHAIN UNSATURED FATTY ACIDS
Thanks to their molecular structure with double bonds
( mainly linoleic acid Omega-3 and Omega-6 )
they tend to adhere to the skin and to bind with
the epithelial fosfolipids; therefore they help skin
moisturization. They can be used in skin care
formulations for dry skin and in hair care conditioning
products.

RESPLANTA PGF are the PEG-free version of RESPLANTA
Chemically RESPLANTA PGF are non ionic surfactants derived from polyglycerols, with excellent dermal
compatibility.
The lipophilic fraction derives from natural oils; RESPLANTA PGF products maintain the organoleptic
characteristics of starting oils and have therefore marked surfatting and cleansing properties.
RESPLANTA PGF are recommended for toiletry formulations ( foam and oil cleansing products ) to
enhance their properties and to rebalance the degreasing effect of anionic and amphoteric surfactants.
The suggested percentage of use is up to 5% in toiletries, up to 3% in emulsions
They have an excellent dermal and ocular compatibility, tested with the InVitro Irritection® method.
RESPLANTA PGF ALM, OLEA and BABASSU have been validated by ECOCERT as being products of
NATURAL ORIGIN and therefore can be used in the formulation of cosmetics certified according to
Natural and Organic Standards.
RESPLANTA PGF OLEA is NATRUE certified.
