NOTIFICATION: TEMPORARY CHANGE OF SCHOOL HOURS
Please mark your calendars for this change. Flower Mound School will end at 4:05 p.m. instead of 3:05 p.m. on the
following days: March 27-30. This is for Monday through Thursday. The purpose of the additional hour is for
remediation, intervention, and enrichment of all students. The extra hours will accommodate the state requirement of
hours of instruction per year by public schools. Bus service will run one hour later than normal. Extended day care
services will begin at 4:05 p.m.
REPORT CARDS TODAY
Every student will receive a report card on Friday, March 24, 2017.
DONATIONS OF UNWANTED ITEMS
Do you have big Spring cleaning plans or just have some items lying around the house not getting used anymore? FMS
PTO has partnered with Goodwill to Spring for a good cause. March 20-April 21 there will be bins in the school to collect
your items. The community benefits and FMS gets $0.10 per pound of donated items.
BOXTOPS
Turn in your boxtops by March 31st to be included in the current contest. The winning class will receive a mystery prize
in April. Keep saving throughout the summer too.
INK AND TONER CARTRIDGES
Flower Mound School is accepting used ink and toner cartridges. These are turned in to Staples to use with their
rewards program. Just drop them at the front desk. Thank you.
