The itinerary
Day 1
Australia – Lima
Today you’ll depart from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or *Adelaide
for Lima, Peru. Fly with LATAM or Qantas Airways (subject to
availability) with all meals included. You’ll be greeted when
you land and taken to your hotel for the evening.
Overnight: Casa Andina Classic, Miraflores San Antonio, Lima.
Day 2
Lima – Cusco
After breakfast you’ll be picked up from the hotel and taken
to the airport for your flight to Cusco where you’ll be met and
taken to your accommodation in the centre of the city. For the
rest of the day you can explore the city however you like, or take
advantage of an optional tour (not included).
Overnight: Casa Andina Classic, Cusco Plaza.
Day 3
Day at your leisure in Cusco
You’re free to explore Cusco at your leisure after breakfast, or join
an optional tour to Sacred Valley (not included).

The Sacred Valley tour will pick you up from your hotel at
8am before setting off for the Urubamba Valley. You’ll get to
visit the colourful Indian market in Písac and test your bartering
skills while interacting with local craftsmen. After Písac, travel
to Urubamba and continue on to Ollantaytambo, the oldest
occupied town on the American continent. Finally, visit Chinchero
before returning to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco and choosing a
restaurant for dinner.

Day 4
Cusco – Aguas Calientes
This morning head to the train station to embark on your journey
to Aguas Calientes, or Hot Springs Town to spend the night. You’ll
have plenty of time to relax and enjoy a hot bath in the natural
springs.
Overnight: Casa Andina Classic, Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu).
Day 5
Machu Picchu – Cusco
After breakfast climb aboard a bus that will take you to the
gates of Machu Picchu where you can watch the sunrise. After
entering the citadel you’ll begin the guided walking tour and then
enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace. In the
afternoon, you’ll meet your guide in Aguas Calientes for lunch (not
included) before heading back to the train station and beginning
your journey back to Cusco.

Day 6
Cusco – Lima
Head to the airport this morning and fly back to Lima. Once you’ve
arrived you’ll take a city tour and visit sites including Huaca
Pucllana, Plaza Mayor and Government Palace. Afterwards you’ll
be able to spend the day however you like.
Overnight: Casa Andina Classic, Miraflores San Antonio, Lima.
Day 7
Lima – Havana
After breakfast you’ll be on your way to the airport to board your
flight to Havana, Cuba, with meals included. When you arrive
you’ll be taken to Terminal Sierra Maestra to spend the evening
in port aboard the MSC Opera.

Montego Bay
Located in Jamaica, Montego Bay’s perfect white beaches are
some of the most beautiful in the Caribbean. Away from the
hustle and bustle of Jamaica’s capital city, Kingston, Montego
Bay is the perfect relaxation spot. Visit the classic plantation
houses, climb the famous Dunn’s River Falls waterfall or go
rafting through the rainforest (not included).

Day 12
George Town
Welcome to the capital of the Cayman Islands. Explore the
colourful wooden houses and artisan workshops before delving
into the island’s history at the National Museum.
Day 13
Cozumel
Next on your agenda is the 40km long Mexican island,
Cozumel. Lose yourself in the history of the island and
take a dip in the crystal clear waters.

Day 14
Havana
Welcome back to beautiful Havana. You’ll have the opportunity
to revisit some of your favourite locations or explore even more

The itinerary
Day 18
locals currently live in a self-contained community. Take a look
at the atrium lobby in the fabulous Hotel Moka, which is built
around a large lime tree. After a welcome drink your guide will
take you through the village where you can sample the local
coffee, look at the work of local artisans or relax by the lake.
Isla de Roatán
Dock at Roatán, the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras and
marvel at its beauty. Unlike the other Bay Islands, Roatán has
a low mountain chain and deep coves protected by coral reefs
along the coast that have provided a safe landing place for ships
throughout the centuries.

Costa Maya
Next up is Costa Maya, a small region in Mexico where you can
see the village come to life and explore its ancient ruins that date
back to 100–900 AD.

Isla de Juventud
Isla de la Juventud is the second largest Cuban island, and serves
as inspiration for the perfect deserted island setting. With less
than 90,000 inhabitants, most of its territory is dedicated to
the preservation of nature.

Day 21
Havana – Las Terrazas – Lima
Return to Havana and enjoy breakfast before disembarking to
enjoy your full day tour of Las Terrazas. You’ll also visit the San
Juan river so you can take a dip before heading to the ruins of the
Buena Vista coffee plantation. Afterwards, you’ll head back to the
airport in Havana to travel back to Lima.
Lima – Santiago
Once you arrive in Santiago you’ll be given a lounge pass
for your comfort until your connecting flight to Australia the
following morning.

Visas
Peru:
No visa required if travelling on an Australian Passport.
Cuba:
A tourist visa is required for entry into Cuba if travelling on an
Australian passport. The visa is valid for 30 days for one entry
and one exit only. You must apply for this visa at least 3 weeks
prior to departure from Australia. Please contact your nearest
Cuban Embassy or Consulate for instructions on how to apply in

An additional tourist card is required each time the ship returns
in Havana; this second and third entry visa is available on board
your cruise at the cost of €15.00 per passenger.
Travellers must present proof of comprehensive travel insurance
in order to enter Cuba.
Other Caribbean islands:
For the transit in the ports of Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and
Mexico, no local Visa is required regardless of the nationality of
passengers provided that the duration of the transit is max 24
hours with arrival/departure on the same vessel.
Please start arranging your visa at least 3 weeks prior to departure
to account for any delays due to consulate operating hours.
