certifiedbyaUSASwimmingmembercoachasbeingproficientinperformingaracingstartormuststart
eachracefromwithinthewater.Itistheresponsibilityoftheswimmerortheswimmer’slegalguardian
toensurecompliancewiththisrequirement.
4. ThestandardCSIwarm-upproceduresareineffectforthismeet.Thisincludesswimmersenteringthe
warm-uplanesusinga3-pointfeet-firstentrywherebothfeetandonehandmustbeincontactwiththe
deckorendwallimmediatelypriortoenteringthewater.
5. Ondeckphotographyisnotallowedfrombehindthestartingblocks.5.
6. HiredphotographersarenotcoveredbyUSASwimming'sinsuranceandmustprovideboththehostclub
andthevenuehostwithacertificateofinsurancenamingbothasAdditionalInsured.Iftheprofessional
photographerdoesn’thavegeneralliabilityinsurance,theyarenotallowedtoroamthevenueasa
professionalphotographer...onlyasaspectator.Additionally,theclubwhohiredthephotographermust
havesignedpermissionformsfromtheparentsofallswimmerstobephotographed.TheUSASwimming
insurancebrokerhasrecommendedthathiredphotographersnotbeallowedondeckunlessthe
photographerhasbeencontractedbythehostclubwiththeconcurrenceofallclubsinvolvedinthe
meettotakepicturesofallparticipants.Again,permissionformsmustbereceivedfromtheparentsof
anyswimmertobephotographed.
7. Operationofadrone,oranyotherflyingapparatus,isprohibitedoverthevenue(pools,athlete/coach
areas,spectatorareasandopenceilinglockerrooms)anytimeathletes,coaches,officialsand/or
spectatorsarepresent.
8. DeckChangingisprohibited.
• Therewillbe“NOSMOKING”anywhereinthefacility.
• Therewillbecontinuouswarm-up/swim-downduringallsessionsinlane10.
• Noopenswimorhorseplaywillbetolerated.Swimmerswillnotbepermittedtogatherorstop
attheendsofthelanes.
• Spectatorsareaskedtorefrainfromstandingalongtherailinfrontofthegrandstand.Parents
