Save $50! American Academy of Pain Management’s 27th Annual Meeting
The American Academy of Pain Management’s 27th Annual Meeting offers
exceptional scientific presentations, career development opportunities for scholars
and clinicians at all levels and in all specialties, poster sessions packed with the
latest research, and networking opportunities with leaders in the field.
This year’s meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas, on September 21-25. Meeting
attendees can earn up to 56 hours of CME/CE—up to 21 hours live at the meeting,
with the remaining credits available at no additional cost through our online, ondemand Pain Care Learning Center for one year following the meeting.
Just picture it—you can be getting your CME/CE hours while you exercise, while
sipping a cold drink on the deck, or even on an airplane! Other meetings may
advertise 120 hours of programming, but you can’t get that much CME/CE credit
unless you attend sessions around-the-clock for 5 days!
The scientific program will cover a broad spectrum of topics including:
-
The National Pain Strategy: Balancing Care and Harms with Linda Porter,
PhD, Health Science Policy Advisor for Pain at the National Institutes of
Health, and co-chair of Oversight Panel of the National Pain Strategy
Global Perspectives on Integrative Pain Management with Robert Bonakdar,
MD, Director of Pain Management, Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine
The Multidimensional Nature of Pain: Implications for Treatment and
Recovery with Seddon Savage, MD, Adjunct Associate Professor of
Anesthesiology, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth University.
… and more than 20 other sessions! See the full schedule and list of faculty
here.
The 2016 planning committee is also eagerly anticipating the pre-meeting
