This brings its own problems with our service users and the warmer
weather. Please remember that the service users can become
dehydrated, so please ensure that they have plenty of fluids to hand
and encourage them to drink.
For those of you doing your diplomas, I am aware that there has not
been communication from the assessor; I have spoken with our HR
department who are following this up.
If when you are you doing your units, you need information, please
don’t hesitate to ask, as a lot of this may be in the policies and
procedures, or there may be someone else that may be able to assist
you.
I will be looking at online courses for those of you that are not eligible
for the Diploma courses currently, if you have a specific interest in
something let me know and I will try and source something for you.
Surrey CC offers many free courses and I hold a list in the office, these
are open to all care workers and office staff whom are interested, but
are subject to limited numbers.
CARE WORKER OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL.
These care workers have been chosen by the service users. From the
Molesey side Mr Rezene Wonderful as he was described by the service
user and their family, they said that he is always cheerful, caring and
willing to help in any way that he can.
On the Woking /Farnham side Kerrara has been nominated, this is for
the constantly impressive feedback from service users who have
stated that she goes the extra mile and is caring and kind and nothing
is too much trouble for her.
