It was exemplary in applying international laws and realizing many achievements at different levels, of which we will mention some to motivate us to make more achievements in the upcoming period. Nabik tsharek…a successfully proven trend Within the framework of pathfinding, KOTC adopted the state trend optimizing expenditure and limiting spending. It also launched Nabik campaign aimed at increasing individual productivity and maximizing revenues. The company thus made many achievements. Taking care of HSE KOTC was pioneering in opening HSE system in line with KPC policy requirements. These standards were adopted at all activities of the marine fleet and the 2 Liquefied Gas Refill and Marine Agency Branches along with continually making more efforts to keep all employees more educated and aware of the importance of HSE preservation. KOTC internationally chosen for limiting pollution As regards environment protection, KOTC signed an agreement, the first such, with the international Danish Press Fac Engineering Company for limiting pollution. KOTC was chosen in view of the international technical level of its fleet and its strict commitment to applying all laws and regulations relevant to protection of regional and international environment for limiting pollution. Application of access to closed areas on board ships KOTC applied the laws pertinent to access to closed areas on board the fleet as imposed by the international marine systems prior to the issuance of such laws. Thereby, the company has been in precedence at level of international marine companies. This appears clearly through the company's clean accident-free record since establishment. These laws helped protect crew personnel during access to goods and water tanks, ballast and fresh water and other closed places on board the tankers. Speedy internet fixed on board the tankers In special marine precedence, KOTC fixed and operated high-speed internet service on board all fleet tankers. This would improve operational processes according to the highest record specifications, would further help reduce communication expenses and maintain the fleet safety and security besides promoting the level of social welfare of employees on board the tankers. Mechanization of services and those of management employees KOTC was in precedence of opening the electronic signing project and mechanizing some services for employees, e.g. issuance of salary certificate and "to whom it may concern" and other official certifications in cooperation with PACI. This helped save time and effort of employees. KTC position in international marine industry KOTC gaining many international awards in SSE added to its credit being the sole company in the Middle East to make such achievements, thanks to God, the efforts of its employees and the fleet viewed as the best environment friend being equipped with the best and most up-to-date supplies and technologies. These achievements helped promote the international position and reputation of Kuwait and KPC. KOTC is going ahead in promoting its performance and services to record levels with national skills and expertise alongside ambition for constant development.
