Error! Bookmark not defined. 2 April 2015 Introduction The Shopping Channel continues to grow by offering our customers a variety of products and services. As we expand the options towards our customers, we also need to expand our internal services. This document will cover how to utilize the Delivery Appointment software to request a delivery appointment from The Shopping Channel. 3 April 2015 Creating an Account and Log In 1. Log into the Delivery Appointment website located at: http://www.tsc.ca/deliveryappt http://www.theshoppingchannel.com/deliveryappt 2. Click “Create account”. 3. You will now have to enter in all the required information as well as select your own Login and Password. Please note: The Login and password created are case sensitive. Log In: Password: Pacer Pacer 4 April 2015 4. Once the account is created, the program will ask you to continue, select the blue “Click here”. This will bring you to selecting a delivery type and time. 5. Create an Appointment by selecting the service from the drop down menu. (See next section for how to create an Appointment). 6. Log out. 5 April 2015 Logging into the Delivery Appointments Navigate to the site and enter in the login and password that you have created. (Case sensitive) http://www.tsc.ca/deliveryappt http://www.theshoppingchannel.com/deliveryappt Then click on “Log In” 6 April 2015 Creating a Delivery Appointment Request 1. The first time you log-in, you will be asked to confirm/change your delivery information. (e.g. change the contact name) and select “Update and Continue”. This is a single occurrence and it will not be requested for subsequent site access. 7 April 2015 a. Please note if the delivery is to be outsourced and the Carrier name changes please go to the Account link on the menu bar and update the changes before requesting the appointment. IMPORTANT: This must be done prior to entering Appointment Service, Date or Time. b. Enter in the in outsourced Carrier name by putting a slash after the original Carrier name and adding in the new Carrier name. c. Click the update button. d. On the summary screen, click the Home button on the menu bar. 8 April 2015 2. Create an Appointment by selecting the service required from the drop down menu. The system will automatically book off the required time to offload 3. On the calendar, select the delivery date requested. Appointments not available on the same business day or on Holidays/Weekends and are blocked off in Grey shading. 9 April 2015 4. Select the time the delivery is requested for. Based on the Service type chosen, the system will automatically only show available dock space based on our hours of operation. 5. Fill in the specific Delivery details, and select “Submit Request” 10 April 2015 6. You will be provided a confirmation number. [email protected]. Currently an email will be sent to the Logistics Department who will review and send a response email confirming the Appointment within 24 hours (Not including weekends and Holidays). Please note if Delivery has not arrived within 15 minutes of the Appointment it will be dispositioned as a “Late” arrival. 7. Log out. 11 April 2015 Reviewing booked Appointments 1. Click on the Home Page link on the top menu bar. 2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and view the Appointment activity. To review the shipment details, click on the date link. 3. Log out. 12 April 2015 Cancelling Appointments not Confirmed Please allow a minimum of 24 hour notice for cancellations. Appointments can be cancelled online if they have not been confirmed. There are two ways of cancelling an Appointment online. Option 1: 1. View the Future Appointment as shown above and click” Cancel”. 2. Enter the reason for cancellation and select “Cancel Appointment” [email protected]. 3. The on-line tool will confirm the cancellation. 13 April 2015 Option 2: 1. The Carrier will receive an email identifying that the Appointment request is under review. Within this email there is a link that will redirect you to cancel. 2. Click on “Cancel my Appointment” 3. Click “OK” to continue beyond the 24 hour notice 14 April 2015 4. A pop up will appear requesting the reason for the cancellation. Submit the reason by clicking “OK” 5. The site will confirm the cancellation. 15 April 2015 6. Log out. Please allow a minimum of 24 hour notice for cancellations. 1. Send an email to [email protected] requesting a cancellation. Include Date, Time, Contact name, phone number, PO #’s and confirmation number in the email Occasionally if minor details or just the date and time require change, the Logistics department can accommodate without the need for cancellation and rebooking of the Appointment. 2. The TSC Receiving Department will confirm the cancellation. 16 April 2015
