The Most Important Action Items for January, 2017
1. Reach out to your state Team to find out your State’s COS Strategy for 2017.
2. Find out the COS Position of your Legislator by writing and calling
3. Find out your “District Category” and “District Messaging” so that you know how to properly
communicate to your legislators.
4. Find out the name of your DC if you are a volunteer and don't know your DC.
5. Communicate your support of COS to your House Rep and Senator by calling, writing a letter, and
emailing them.
6. Find out if your state has filed the COS Resolution yet and get the Filing name of the Resolution.
7. Find out what committee the COS Resolution has been assigned to.
8. Contact the committee members and ask them to support the COS Resolution.
9. Find out when your State Team will be visiting the Capitol to deliver petitions and Surgical Strike
Articles.
10. Find out how many active volunteers are in your District and recruit additional volunteers. The
minimum goal is 100 Active Volunteers.
