Sunglo Showdown Rules
1. Exhibitors are to be 21 years of age or less on the show date.
2. Safety and respect for other exhibitors are to be demonstrated at all times. Exhibitors
may be disqualified by the show committee at any time for a violation of safety or
respect.
3. Cattle must be properly tagged or tattooed and less than 3 years of age.
4. Steers and Heifers only, No bull show.
5. Steers and heifers will be shown by weight.
6. Brahman classes will be formed with min entry of 20 head.
7. Show committee will form classes based on entries and post Saturday Dec 6.
8. Health papers required at check-in for all cattle hauled to the show.
9. No dogs allowed in the show barn, stall areas or festival area.
10.No generators inside the barn.
11.No electrical devices in the wash rack.
12.Stalls available on first come basis and stall is included in entry fee for Friday night. You
are responsible for cleaning the stall. Shavings are $8 a bag on site or bring your own.
Saturday night stalls available for $20 / night. Stalls must be cleaned and vacated by
4:30PM Saturday.
13.Check-in will be open from 3:00PM till 8:00PM Friday Dec 5th. Showmanship entries
need to be checked-in 6:00PM. Showmanship begins at 7:00PM. Brahman classes (if
available) will begin at 8:00AM Saturday Dec 6.
14. Showmanship with will divided by age group. Age 8-12 Age 13-16 Age 17-21
15.Payouts will be $1000 grand steer and $1000 supreme heifer. $500 reserve steer and
$500 reserve heifer. Top 5 will be named in both Steers and Heifer. Showmanship will
be 100% payback based on entries.
Sunglo / Cargill Inc., Cargill employees, show sponsors, vendors and show volunteers
will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur, or for lost or stolen
property. A reasonable attempt will be made to provide a s safe environment at all
times for exhibitors, livestock and spectators.
