The Bluebonnet Boxer Club Inc. Welcomes You!
Meet the Boxer through our Club. He’s truly a dog for all seasons-- a household guardian, an
attractive walking companion, children’s playmate and protector. He is vigilant and loyal to
his family.
The Club was formed in 1980 for the purposes of education, encouragement and promotion of quality in
the breeding of purebred Boxers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection. Its
members are breeders, fanciers, exhibitors and just plain pet owners who enjoy the Breed and are
enjoying their dogs via the activities of the Club.
The Club serves the Northwest Harris County and Cypress areas and is licensed by the American Kennel
Club to conduct Specialty Shows and Sanctioned Matches. They are usually held in the Greater Cypress
area and are open to AKC registered Boxers. Spectators are always welcome. At Specialty Shows AKC
championship points are awarded and competition is serious. Matches tend to be light-hearted and fun.
They are great learning forums, both for Boxers and their owners.
Club membership is open to those who are eighteen, or older
Club meetings are held at 7.30 pm, on the second Thursday of each month, in the Bear Creek
Community Center, 3 Abercrombie Drive (at Hwy 6), Houston, TX 77084. We offer varied programs
before each meeting and welcome visitors.
