We offer a variety of different photo sessions and are sure to
have one that best suits your needs. Session fees vary according to the type of coverage that is offered and cover the
artist’s time, talent, and creation of client proofs for online or
personal viewing unless stated otherwise. Session fees cover
a single subject, i.e. an individual portrait or a family portrait
and sessions may also be combined to allow for both individual and family coverage for an additional fee. In what follows
you will find a sampling of what we offer and as a custom image boutique we are always open to explore your artistic vision

Studio Portrait Sessions
Studio sessions take place in the studio with professional lighting equipment and last from
thirty minutes to an hour. One of the great advantages of indoor studio sessions is that they
can be scheduled at any time and weather is not a concern. Images are very sharp, virtually
grain free, and have the advantage of controlled lighting. And because of the close working
distance, wonderful closeups are the norm. Beautiful natural expressions are plentiful for our
mini clients and stunning images can be created for our more mature clients that are willing
to cooperate. After your session you will be presented with approximately 20 of the session’s
best images via a 7 day online gallery or a personal viewing session to make your purchase
selections. Indoor studio sessions are ideally suited to babies, fashion, teens, seniors, and
corporate clients.

Lifestyle Portrait Sessions
My most popular session type, lifestyle sessions focus on capturing living images in the location
of your choosing. Because I am able to focus on my subjects in more natural environments,
lifestyle session images tend to be much more relaxed and I am usually very successful at
capturing the true personalities of my subjects. Since lifestyle sessions generally focus on
moving targets, they are shot solely with ambient light. Typical settings include playgrounds,
the city, fountains, bedrooms, family homes, etc. For outdoor sessions, we are at the mercy of
mother nature and while overcast days are perfect for lifestyle sessions, rain means we need
to go indoors or reschedule. Please also be aware that full overhead sun leads to images
with harsh shadows and extra bright backgrounds when scheduling your session. After your
session you will be presented with approximately 20 of the session’s best images via a 7 day
online gallery or a personal viewing session to make your purchase selections. With their
photojournalistic slant, lifestyle sessions are ideal for busy kids and fun families.

Coming of Age
Our coming of age session is geared towards letting our
teenage clients put their own mark on their images as they
are made. Photos from these sessions become important entries into the family record and are solid proof that grandma
or grandpa really were once young some 60 years on down
the road. And what is most special about this type of portrait session is that more and more teenagers are projecting
themselves into these photo sessions through their choice of
location, clothing, and styling. Some kids incorporate their
hobbies into the photos, while others go for a fashion look or
an urban feel. Another big part of coming of age portraits
is being able to share them with friends and that is why personalized web images (watermarked with my logo) are also
available with coming of age sessions. Lasting about 90 minutes and resulting in about 30 images to choose from, coming
of age sessions are also great for senior portrait sessions so
please check our package options to find a solution that suits
your needs.

Maternity
Are you so excited about the human being growing inside you that you never want to forget
these months of anticipation? And none the pictures others have taken make you feel beautiful? Then our studio maternity session might be just what you are looking for. Maternity
portraits can be quite intimate but you may choose just how much or how little you’d like to
expose. Plus, you dictate the style of your session whether it be delicate or bold. Worried
about not having a perfect figure? Don’t be! Soft and creative lighting combined with the right
material and post processing choices will go a long to showcase your beauty but conceal the
bits you’d rather not highlight. You will have an opportunity to make your purchase selections
from about 20 images via an online gallery or personal consultation. In addition, all previous
maternity clients will receive a special gift when they bring their newborn in to be photographed
within the first three months after birth.

Beauty and Fashion
Are you looking to give that someone special a unique gift of yourself or build your modeling
portfolio? When life gets a bit hectic we don’t also have the time to make ourselves look the
best and sometimes forget how beautiful we can be. Some special images (and the pampering
that goes with getting ready for the shoot) can be just what you need to feel like you again.
Beauty sessions can also be used to bring your fantasy character to life. Lasting about an hour
and a half, sessions and may take place in the studio or on location. You will be presented with
about 30 images to make your purchase selections.

Pets
Is your pet more than just a pet? We can capture the personality of your special loved one
and create a wonderful piece of art for your home. Plus, pet portraits are great to feature on
specialty items like handbags or greeting cards. Generally our pet portrait sessions last up to
an hour and can take place in your home or at the studio.

Executive Sessions
Executive sessions are designed to provide individuals with good looking head and shoulders
shots or environmental business portraits that reflect their personal style. Choose from contemporary or classic portraiture to present yourself the way you want to be seen and forget
the mug shots from yesteryear. Since many people are looking for images for their websites
or corporate reports, one web ready image with minor retouching is included with the session
fee. Additional web images may be purchased separately.

Custom Images
While I always strive to create the most
beautiful and technically sound images
straight out the camera, my work does not
stop there. Post-processing is a major component of my work and is what turns a lovely
image into a stunning one. Creating custom
images requires time, effort, and a significant level of expertise. Each custom image
is color corrected to ensure beautiful skin
tones, lightly retouched to remove any minor blemishes, and cropped to your preference. Images are available in color, black
and white, sepia, or a custom tone. All of
our custom images are professionally processed and finished by mounting or matting with archival materials for easy framing.

Since mother nature doesn’t always have the same vision as we do, mortal intervention may
be required. From removing spots, to performing digital liposuction, to swapping heads, to
restoring a precious photo, a lot can be done in the digital operating room so please contact
us with your special needs. Both image restoration and retouching tasks are billed per quarter
hour.

Lifestyle Books
Our lifestyle books make wonderful gifts and rather than being hidden away in the cupboard,
are meant to be left out for regular viewing. Our standard book comes with 16 pages, includes
16 images, and measures 20 × 20 cm, which is the perfect size for the coffee table. Lifestyle
books are printed with a digital offset press, stitch bound, and may feature images on the front
and back covers. Filled with your favorite session images, the layout is clean, simple, and
features images in their natural state.

Milestone Books
Our milestone books are simply stunning! Containing real photographic images, milestone
books feature a lay-flat binding which is great for panorama spreads. Available in two main
sizes, 25 × 25 cm and 20 × 20 cm, milestone books come with an optional front cover image

EVENTS
We cover a wide variety of events including grand
openings, anniversaries, corporate functions, equestrian events, and just about any kind of party that may
come to mind. On site printing and slideshow generation are also available, please contact us for details.
Weddings
My photographic style for weddings is a combination of photojournalism and fashion. During
most of the wedding, I will try not to interfere with the proceedings rather record events as
they happen. Exceptions to this approach occur most often when dealing with the bride and
groom on their own where I will help to create the shots that aren’t happening on their own
and during formal sessions with the parents and the wedding party. Your group images can
be as contemporary or traditional as you chose and I am always open to your ideas or input,
especially before the event. That is why I always like to meet with my clients in advance of the
wedding to discuss their own personal wishes. The pre-wedding consultation is typically very
informal and can even take place in a nice cafe. All of our wedding collections include a custom
designed album and and elegantly tell the story of your very special day.

WEDDINGS
Typically the wedding day flies by so quickly and after all the planning and attention to detail,
you barely get the chance to notice it. My job as a photographer is to not only capture the
wedding details, but more importantly, to capture your love, your passion, and dedication for
one another on this very special day. Why? So that even after 50 years together, a glance
through your photo album conjures up all those feelings of youth, love, and excitement all over
again. In addition, I create a record of the day to honour the loved ones that may soon leave
us and allow the generations to come a peak at what has formed us.
On Your Own
This may come as a shocker but sometimes the actual wedding day is a bit stressful for the
bride and groom and there really isn’t enough time to make the special couple photos the bride
and groom had envisioned. Our “On Your Own” session is designed specifically to take some
stress out of your wedding day AND get those magazine style images you’ve always dreamed
of. Some advantages of an “On Your Own” session are that we have more time, everyone is
generally much more relaxed, and there is a lot more freedom in choosing the location. Our On
your own sessions can take place either before or after your wedding, depending on your own
preferences and customs about seeing the bride in her dress before the wedding. An extra
advantage of a post wedding session is that brides are not nearly as worried about soiling their
dress and we can get some really exciting images. Sessions typically last up to three hours
and may include on location lighting for a more glamorous effect. On your own sessions may
be booked “a la carte” or be incorporated in custom packages.

Bridal Portraits
Our bridal portraits are designed to capture not only the details of the wedding dress but also the beauty, and excitement
of the bride before her big day. Often with close friends and
her mother, the bridal session is sort of a rite of passage, during which emotional and tender moments are shared. Bridal
portraits can be made in the studio or on location and even in
the bridal shop. Bridal portraits are often displayed at the wedding itself and images from the session may also be included
in your actual wedding album. Often filled with giggles and
pensive moments, which make for great photo opportunities,
bridal sessions typically last up to 2 hours.

How it works?
Before the Session
• I will ask you some questions in order to better determine what you are looking for and
how to best meet your personal imaging needs.
• A 50 edeposit is required to schedule your session. In the event your session is cancelled,
your deposit will not be refunded. Deposits will be carried over in the case of illness or
minimum 48 hour reschedule notice and be forfeited under all other circumstances.
• When I have received your deposit you will then receive some information on what to
expect during the session and a copy of our client contract and modeling release form for
each person being photographed. These papers must be signed and returned before the
session can begin.
• Please note that the full session fee (less your deposit) is due at the start of the session.
BOOKINGS
• To create your own personal keepsakes, please call or email me for an appointment.
Because I give my undivided attention to clients sessions, I do not answer the phone
while photographing, so please be sure to leave a message if I can’t get to the phone
and I’ll contact you as soon as possible. Also, despite the great that convenience email
provides, it just doesn’t work 100% of the time. So, if you have contacted me and not
heard back within 48 hours, please try to contact me again.
After the Session
• After your session you will have the opportunity to schedule a personal consultation or
elect to have your images presented via an online gallery. Because of their interactive
nature, personal consultations are best for ordering but in most cases the option of an
online gallery will also available to you. In general, images will be ready for viewing within
one week after the session.
• To avoid any confusion, orders will only be accepted in person or via the online gallery.
• Processing of your order will commence once payment has been received. Please allow
approximately 4 weeks for the fulfillment of print orders, 6 weeks for framed prints, and
8-12 weeks for books. Delivery time for press printed products is 4-6 weeks from the time
proofs have been approved.
• I will notify you once your order becomes available and you may arrange a time to come
pick it up or request delivery for an additional fee.
• I will retain your images for approximately 6 months after your order has been completed.
Upon expiry of the 6 months, I will archive your order and purge all non-ordered images
from our system except those specially selected for retention by the artist.
• Please note that digital image files (with the exception of specific web products) are not
available for purchase at this time.
