Essential Question: ● What were some of the major cultural accomplishments of ancient Greece and how have they left a lasting legacy in our world today? Objectives: ● Students will research events or people that contributed to the Ancient Greek civilization. When research is complete, students will develop a project to inform and display information. ● Use digital tools and strategies to locate, collect, organize, evaluate, and synthesize information. ● Use digital tools to generate new ideas, products, or processes. ● Identify cultural contributions of Classical Greece, including politics, intellectual life, arts, literature, architecture, and science. ● Students will meet common core expectations for History, Language Arts, Speaking. Writing. Topic Choices: ● Mythology/Religion ● Olympics ● Science/Mathematics ● Theatre ● Architecture Product Choices ● Research paper (2­4 pgs) ● Poster (full size with text cards) ● Powerpoint (at least 10 slides) ● Book (covers, 2­4 pgs) ● Instagram thread (paper strip­ 5 posts) Requirements: ● 3 reliable websites used and documented in a biliography using easybib.com ● 4­5 minute oral presentation­ ​
