Newark Chamber
Adopts Symbol
The Newark Chamber of Commerce
has designed a logo type for local
merchants and citizens who are
members of the organization, The
symbol may be used on advertisements
or on miscellaneous correspondence,
according to Art Bushart, chamber
manager and designer of the logo.
“Many people in our community
wonder how the Chamber is involved in
.their community, maybe if they see our
. logo to connection frith'some of the
local businesses they will see that we
are very involved,” said Bushart.
The Chamber of Commerce, which
has 165 members, is hoping that local
businesses will use this logo to help
promote the reputation of their
businesses, "according to Barry
