Please check with a member of the Royal Society to ensure you are permitted to use the third party logo. The Royal Society Third Party Logo Guidelines September 2009 2 The Royal Society third party logo The third party logo combines the Royal Society logotype and icon as one cohesive unit, and a simple way for an external organisation to show the Society’s involvement. A Using the logo The third party logo has two variants: black and white. Only white is to be used on coloured backgrounds (A). Black is to be used on mono/white background applications (B). It is vital that you only ever reproduce our logo from the approved artwork. Never alter, distort or adjust the letterforms, typestyle and visual relationships, either photomechanically or digitally. The Royal Society logo must always be clearly visible. The minimum area to surround the logo is equal to the height of the logotype and is shown opposite. The exclusion zone is applicable for communications in all media. Therefore must be used in a consistent, relevant and unified way. The examples opposite show incorrect and inconsistent representations. Please ensure that the artwork supplied is always used and never altered in any way.
