 Teacher will model (review) how to convert ounces into pounds:
o To find how many ounces are in 3 pounds, first I need to remember that a pound is 16 ounces. I can
multiply by three since I have three pounds. Or, I can add 16 three times.
Composing:


Students will convert ounces to pounds and compare objects by explaining which object weighs more.
Students will complete the worksheet
