Atlantic Ocean 100 0m Supernova continue to work on the exploration campaign on Block 7B whilst also seeking suitable deepwater industry JV partners. With new 3D available, the company can look ahead to improving understanding of the play concepts on the block, and further to establish a full inventory of well defined prospects within this extended Stage Two of the licence. Polarcus has acquired 2,373 km2 3D seismic over the deepwater sector of Block 7B in January 2013. The survey was shot with the Naila SV vessel using 10 x 8.1km streamers. Final OPSRM 3D volume now available. A large inventory of viable prospects and leads has been mapped on 2D seismic data in Mesozoic rocks with classic West African play types being recognized. Detailed evaluation studies and further seismic is planned to progress to a drilling campaign, most of which may occur in water depths from 150m to 1,500m. Elsewhere in the region, Tullow have farmed-in to Hyperdynamics block in Guinea Conakry, Cap Energy have farmed-in to Lime's Blocks 1 and 5B (Guinea Bissau) and Cairn Energy have farmed-in to FAR's Rufisque/Sangomar acreage in Senegal. The JVA was awarded in 2007 and gazetted in 2008. The exploration commitments are split over three phases, 1.5 years for Stages 1 and 2 and 2 years for Stage 3. There is an optional 2 year Stage 4. The JVA Stage 2 has currently been extended to April 2014 and there is a 3D seismic commitment in this phase. www.supernova-energy.com Guinea Bissau Block 7B Farm-in Opportunity Update 2013 3D Survey Area Coordinates A B C D 09° 35' 55.887"N 09° 54' 01.426"N 09° 44' 31.226"N 09° 26' 26.296"N Sinapa 18° 03' 43.986"W 17° 37' 21.779"W 17° 30' 44.796"W 17° 57' 06.905"W GUINEA BISSAU l na tio na ary er d t In oun B Block 7B Supernova B 20 0m C Atlantic Ocean A D 100 0m 0 Km 50 3D Survey Area Map showing location of the 3D survey on Block 7B Prospectivity A significant prospect inventory has been defined over the block based on the work completed to date (vintage 2km 2D grid plus offset wells). The main Play types expected are: 1. Late Cretaceous Cenomanian-Turonian sandstone reservoirs sourced and charged from Turonian age source rocks. 2. Cretaceous Aptian / Albian sandstone targets with Upper Cretaceous age and Jurassic source potential. Recent discoveries in the adjacent transform margin are strongly analogous. 3. Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous marine Carbonate systems (source and reservoir) with potential Lower Cretaceous lacustrine source. Prospectivity is supported by numerous oil seeps, surface geochem samples, oil and gas shows in nearby wells, the presence of an oilfield at Sinapa in the adjacent block (light oil in Albian sand) and the billion barrel heavy oilfield at Dome Flore (heavy oil in Oligocene and light oil in Maastrichtian) nearshore Senegal. The Company Supernova Energy B.V. is a company under the Bluewater Group of companies and participates as a technical and financial partner in oil & gas exploration and production. Formed in 2007, Supernova aims to expand its portfolio of equities in oil & gas developments initially as non operator, and where possible providing its corporate expertise and experience with field development, floating production systems and marine terminals. http://www.supernova-energy.com www.supernova-energy.com Guinea Bissau Block 7B Farm-in Opportunity Update 2013 Farm Out Process Supernova are seeking suitable industry partners, preferably with deepwater exploration experience, to participate in the current Stage 2 3D seismic phase and also to the future exploration drilling campaign. The data room is being held in London. Interested companies are invited to apply for a CA and data room access from Supernova or their London representative for this project, Peter Elliott. The Bid Deadline is expected to be 31 Dec 2013. Summary An exciting exploration Farm-in opportunity in a prospective region of West Africa. Stable environment, good fiscal terms.
