MISSION STATEMENT
In the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle and the Brothers of the Christian Schools, Mullen High School is a Catholic,
college-preparatory high school whose graduates embrace God’s gift of learning, devote their lives to seeking ceaselessly for His learning,
and commit themselves to using His learning in the service of others. Mullen’s hallmarks are its exemplary teaching, its community of

Mullen believes the concept of rank does not accurately reflect the selective nature of
our college preparatory curriculum and the achievements of individual students.
Service Learning Requirement — 70 hours
SCHEDULE
Mullen has three 60-day trimester grading periods. Students are enrolled in five classes per trimester. Classes are 70 minutes in length and meet
five times per week. Each trimester class is 0.5 credits, and students earn up to 7.5 credits per year. This rigorous schedule results in Mullen
students meeting a total of 8,400 minutes per year in college-prep and honors classes and 12,600 minutes per year in advanced placement classes.

MULLEN EDUCATORS:
Mullen High School has 55 faculty members and 26 staff members. 65% of faculty and administration
have advanced degrees. Six faculty members have Ph.D’s. Teachers have an average of 19 years of
teaching experience and 9 years of teaching at Mullen. There are 13 alumni on the Mullen Faculty and
Staff.
