Service Learning Requirement — 70 hours SCHEDULE Mullen has three 60-day trimester grading periods. Students are enrolled in five classes per trimester. Classes are 70 minutes in length and meet five times per week. Each trimester class is 0.5 credits, and students earn up to 7.5 credits per year. This rigorous schedule results in Mullen students meeting a total of 8,400 minutes per year in college-prep and honors classes and 12,600 minutes per year in advanced placement classes. Six faculty members have Ph.D’s. Teachers have an average of 19 years of teaching experience and 9 years of teaching at Mullen. There are 13 alumni on the Mullen Faculty and Staff. STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT ADVANCED PLACEMENT TESTING ACT SCORES In 2014, 148 students took 254 AP examinations. 89% of tests resulted in scores of 3, 4, or 5. 51% scored a 4 or 5 and 25% of tests resulted in a score of 5.
