Fakebook Requirements
Your Fakebook must include the following:
1. First and last name of historical leader (nickname can be in parenthesis)
- Example: Rosa Parks or Jackie Robinson (J-Rob)
2. Picture of historical leader
- This picture can be the one that the site automatically uploads for you
or you can choose your own picture from the internet
3. Summary posted to profile
- Click Edit Profile and type your summary that you previously wrote into
the box. Be sure to click save changes!
4. Five friends
- Add five “friends” by clicking Add Friends.
- These “friends” could be others that your historical leader may have
come in contact with or worked with closely. They could even be an
“enemy”.
- Think: If my historical leader had Fakebook, who would they add as a
friend?
- Example: Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Junior would be friends
- Example: George Washington and the King of England would be
enemies
5. Five posts from historical leader
- Your historical leader must write at least five posts on their page.
- These posts should be related to their battle or life at the time. Infer the
types of thoughts they would have.
- Think: If my historical leader had Fakebook, what would they post to
their page related to serious issues?
- For Example: Rosa Parks might post: I support Civil Rights and wish the
best for my dear friend Martin Luther King Junior as he gives his speech
today. He is an inspiration, and I hope his words help end segregation!
6. Five posts from friends
- The friends that you have “added” must each post at least one
comment to your page.

These posts should be related to your battle, life at the time, or inferred
friendship. Infer the types of thoughts your friends would have.
- Think: If my historical leader had Fakebook, what would their friends
post to their page related to serious issues?
7. One to two comments on each post that your historical leader or friends
post.
- Each post on your page (whether your historical leader posted it or
friends posted it) must have a sub-post.
- These sub-posts should be a mix of friends and historical leader.

approve your Fakebook before you can move on to the next step.
