OAI HEAD START MENUS 12/5/16 – 1/6/17
Following are the menus to be served at OAI Head Start Centers from 12/5/16 –
1/6/17. Our classes are open Monday – Thursday most weeks. On occasion, classes
may meet on Friday due to holidays or closings due to unexpected events like
weather.
OAI Head Start Centers are scheduled to be closed from 12/19/16 – 1/3/17. All OAI
Head Start locations are scheduled to be closed from 12/23/16 – 1/3/17. If there is a
change in this schedule, you will be notified by your local Head Start center.
When classes go on outings, a different “field trip” menu may be served. Your center
will let you know when this occurs. There may be times when the menu has to be
changed due to an emergency like a sick cook.
Our menus must meet standards set by the Child & Adult Care Food Program/USDA as
well as Head Start Performance Standards. Menus are planned in accordance with
these standards. Cooks do have input into the menus.
If you have questions about meal service at Head Start please let the staff at your
center know.
