PROPELLOR STYLISH CONTEMPORARY TRAVEL
A bespoke concept for Globe-Trotter
THE THINKING BEHIND YOUR JOURNEY
Propellor – Stylish contemporary travel
As a quintessentially British company that espouses both style
and tradition, we wanted to create a journey showcasing the best
of England. Working with Brown + Hudson we have created an
amazing trip that shows the effortless style and heritage that
have driven Globe-Trotter for the last 118 years.
Since our inception we have enjoyed rich ties to the British Royal
family. Throughout your travels with us we will highlight this
fascinating connection by visiting regal properties, discovering
the Queen’s Crown Jewels, meeting their personal perfumer
and even staying in one of their favourite hotels. Through our
contacts you’ll learn fascinating insights into the history and
interests of the monarchy.
We have carefully selected hotels that epitomise our attention
to detail, style and heritage. Your accommodation in central
London has maintained its traditional and beautiful façade but
transformed its interior into a sleek modern hotel - much like our
Propellor range has added a modern twist to our classic design.
Outside of London you’ll be staying at a grand stately home
where HRH The Queen chose to spend her honeymoon. You’ll
enjoy a taste of the regal life just as Globe-Trotter luggage has on
each of The Queen’s trips since 1947.

For our exclusive customers who desire only the best, we have
arranged private access to some of the capital’s most popular
destinations. Join an expert after hours at the Natural History
Museum, enjoy your own access to the Tower of London,
shop in the chicest of London’s boutiques and take in plenty of
spectacular views.
Throughout your journey you will enjoy the finest cuisine
that celebrates British food at its best - just as our luggage
champions British traditions and craftsmanship. Whether it
is High Tea at Claridge’s, where another devotee of ours, Sir
Winston Churchill, made his home; brunch in the city’s tallest
and most modern building or lunch in one of the world’s 10 top
restaurants you’ll be sure to see modern British food in all its
glory.
By the time you leave to return home you will have discovered
the passions that drive us, the generations of traditions and
the modern innovations that make Globe-Trotter instantly
recognisable around the world. You’ll know why Captain Robert
Falcon Scott and Sir Edmund Hilary refused to set out on their
daring adventures with anything less than the finest possible
luggage - Globe-Trotter.

LONDON - 4 NIGHTS
Arriving in London you will be met at the airport as soon as
you leave customs and driven directly to the Rosewood Hotel.
Located in the centre of Holborn and moments away from
bustling Covent Garden, this modern interpretation of a classic
British hotel is the perfect base for your time in the capital.
The Rosewood is one of the finest five-star hotels in London,
blending English heritage with contemporary sophistication.
The Edwardian, Grade II-listed building has been sensitively
renovated to create a luxury hotel with the ambience of a stylish
London residence.
In the morning you will be driven to the Tower of London for
an exclusive visit. Built by William the Conqueror in the 1070s
this imposing fortress was home to many kings and queens but
was also famously used to house the country’s worst criminals.
See Traitors Gate, where the heads of traitors were displayed
after their beheading, visit the cells where Sir Walter Raleigh was
detained and stand on the very spot where Henry VIII had two
of his wives killed.
Afterwards, enjoy an exclusive viewing of the Crown Jewels
without the crowds; spend time admiring this exquisite collection.
See the shimmering diamonds, rubies and emeralds as well
as the crowns of the realm plus the official orb and Sceptre of
Power. Worth a combined total of £2 billion pounds this amazing
collection is sure to take your breath away.
Head to brunch in London’s and Western Europe’s, tallest
building - The Shard. A modern and elegant British building,
echoing the ethos of the Propellor range. Here you’ll enjoy
pure sophistication as you sip champagne, sample a delectable
brunch and take in unparalleled views of St Paul’s Cathedral, the
Houses of Parliament and across to the Olympic Park. Soak up
these vistas as a piano gently plays in the background.
In the evening head to London’s Theatreland, one of the world’s
most famous theatre districts and home to many award-winning
shows. Enjoy the finest seats in the house and afterwards head
back stage to share a drink or two with the stars of the show. A
true cosmopolitan treat for discerning travellers.
Afterwards head to Christopher’s for martinis at one of the
city’s premier cocktail bars and favourite hangout of the stars of
Theatreland. Perhaps order yours shaken not stirred - just like
England’s most famous secret agent 007.
The next day discover the most exclusive and desirable boutiques
the city has to offer. Just as Globe-Trotter is stylish and chic, so
are many of the latest and greatest designers. Stroll along South
Molton Street and its eclectic mix of shops. Then head to the
designers on the world-famous Bond Street and finally wander

through uber-stylish Knightsbridge, home to England’s and
possibly the world’s most famous store - Harrods.
In the afternoon you’ll be taken to Claridge’s for the most
quintessential of British traditions, High Tea. Consistently rated
the best in London, Claridge’s is steeped in history. Sit and sip
the finest teas while you sample beautiful pastries and perfectly
formed finger sandwiches.
For a different view of the city, you’ll then take a private pod on
the London Eye. Drink cocktails as you effortlessly glide into
the sky on a 120m Ferris wheel. There are few city views more
special than London at night. See incredible landmarks lit up as
the capital lies before you.
The following morning you will have the chance to create your
own bespoke perfume with HRH Prince Charles’ personal
perfumer. Head to the fragrance room and learn the art of
blending scents to match your personality. Perhaps even discover
what Prince Charles’ favourite cologne contains.
Head for a lunch experience you will never forget. You’ll sit at
the chef’s table at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. This two
Michelin star restaurant has been a firm fixture in the World’s
Top 10 restaurants since its inception, Dinner celebrates British
gastronomy with some dishes able to trace their history right
back to the Middle Ages. Marvel at the chefs preparing these
intricate and fascinating dishes right in front of your eyes before
tucking into treats such as meat fruits (pâtés disguised as fruits)
and lobster and cucumber soup.
HOME COUNTIES - 2 NIGHTS
After your stay in London, it will be time to head to the Home
Counties for a unique shopping experience. Visit a one-off
Globe-Trotter factory shop in Northampton. Feel the history
behind the brand and gain a true understanding of the company’s
journey, its craftsmanship and the amount of work that goes into
making each piece of luggage.
While in Northampton, take time to visit another of England’s
finest brands - Church’s shoes. A favourite of the royal family,
Church’s have been making shoes from as far back as 1675 and
retain their traditional construction methods. Much like us they
are always innovating and bringing their designs to the forefront
of style and elegance.
This evening you will stay at Luton Hoo, an amazing stately house
hotel in Bedfordshire and one of HRH The Queen’s favourite
places to stay. In fact she likes the property so much she picked
it as one of her honeymoon destinations in 1947. Staying here

is to experience the royal life. Each room has been individually
furnished and decorated to reflect its unique character. Some
feature silk lined and panelled walls, others marble fireplaces
and ornately decorated ceilings, all offer stunning views of
the gardens and rolling parkland beyond. Dine at the hotel’s
delicious Wernher restaurant, named after Sir Julius Wernher
who bought Luton Hoo in 1903. As if the award-winning cuisine
wasn’t enough, few restaurants can compete with the dining
room itself, which is resplendent with eye-popping floor to ceiling
marble panels, glittering chandeliers and heavy drapes. It is said
that when Sir Julius bought Luton Hoo he spent half of his lavish
refurbishment budget on the two rooms that today make up this
award-winning restaurant.
The following day relax and enjoy the hotel’s luxurious spa and
reflect on everything that you have seen and done.
As you prepare to return home, revel in the time you have spent
in the UK take a moment to celebrate its traditions, history, style
and character. You’ll soon realise that, much like a piece of GlobeTrotter luggage, Britain only gets better with age.
