Directions and Accommodation
Pilgrims brand new Training Academy is based in
Salfords, Redhill in Unit 8 on the newly refurbished
Orchard Business Centre. It is only 5 miles from the
M25 (J8), M23 (J9) and Gatwick Airport, thus enabling
easy access no matter where you are coming from.
It provides over 45,000 sq. ft. of indoor training
facilities with a large car park at the rear for over 80
vehicles. Classrooms are large and modern and well
equipped allowing theory and practical training to be
taught with ease. The indoor hanger area contains a
mock scenario village that allows practical training to
take place 365 days of the year no matter what the
weather.
Meals
Pilgrims will provide lunch and refreshments
throughout the course. Please do indicate to us if you
have any special dietary requirements. Breakfast and
dinner is inluded in the preferential rate at the Holiday
Inn on course days. Quote “Pilgrims” when ordering.

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Crawley with a
10 minute drive from town centre and just a 2 minute
drive from junction 10 of the M23.
Accommodation is included in the course price,
however you will need to book this via the Safeguard
system. Do not book accommodation through the
Holiday Inn website.
You must check out of your room on the morning
of your final day of training.

Travel information to Training Academy
Travelling South on the A23 (from Redhill)
Follow signs to Gatwick from Redhill. Travelling on
the dual carriageway through Salfords, head past the
Harvester on your right hand side and as you round
a slight bend in the road, turn left opposite Harwood
Park (signposted Orchard Business Centre)
Follow this road running parallel with the main road
until you see Pilgrims Training Academy directly in
front of you.
Travelling North on the A23
Follow signs to Redhill from Gatwick Airport/M23.
Bypass Horley on the main road and keep heading
towards Redhill. As you enter Salfords there is a BMW
garage on your right hand side, and you will also pass
the Training Academy behind a line of trees. Keep
on the main road and turn right opposite Harwood
Park (signposted Orchard Business Centre) then come
directly back on yourself running parallel with the
main road until you see Pilgrims Training Academy
directly in front of you.
By train to the Training Academy
The nearest station is Salfords however the nearest
main line station is Redhill.
From the station you can take a taxi by calling Carline
on 01293430430 or Road Runners on 01737 766999.
Travel information to Holiday Inn, Gatwick Worth
From London by road:
From the M25 take junction 7, signposted M23
Crawley and Brighton. Turn off at junction 10 and
take the first exit left for the A264 to East Grinstead.
At the next roundabout (Copthorne Hotel) take the
last exit signposted for Three Bridges, Maidenbower,
and Crematorium. Proceed down Copthorne Road.
From this road, take the first left (signposted Regency
Hotel) called “The Old Hollow”. At the top of “The
Old Hollow”, turn right on to Turners Hill Road. The
Gatwick Worth Hotel is situated 100 yards down on
the right hand side.
From Brighton by road:
At junction 10 on the M23 turn right on to the
A264 for East Grinstead. At the next roundabout
(Copthorne Hotel) take the last exit signposted for
Three Bridges, Maidenbower, and crematorium.
Proceed down Copthorne Road. From this road, take
the first left (signposted Regency Hotel) called “The
Old Hollow”. At the top of “The Old Hollow”, turn
right on to Turners Hill Road. The Gatwick Worth Hotel
is situated 100 yards down on the right hand side.

By rail from London Victoria:
The most convenient station is Three Bridges. Trains
leave every half an hour and will take 32 minutes. The
Holiday Inn London Gatwick Worth is just 6 minutes
by taxi. From the station you can take a taxi by calling
Metro cars on 01293 415415 or there is a taxi rank
outside the station.
On Arrival at Holiday Inn, Gatwick Worth
Please check into your room and Pilgrims will arrange
your pick up from reception at 10.30am on the first
day of the course to take you to the training venue
for a 11.00am start. Subsequent pickups for the
remainder of your course will occur straight after
breakfast at 7.30am for an 8.00am start.
The distance from the Hotel to the Redhill Training
Centre is 5 miles/ 10 to 15 minutes drive.
Please remember to check out of your room on the
morning of your last training day.
