Materials: - 1 gallon milk jug, washed - 2 empty toilet paper tubes, cut in half at 45-degree angles as four “legs” Milk Jug Piggy Bank - 1 sheet paperboard - white acryllic primer, red paint, and brush or sponge - 1 pink pipe cleaner - masking tape, scissors Kideas Tip: Lightly sand jug before project to better allow for the paint to adhere to the surface. Cut ear shapes from paperboard, using the pattern here if desired. 2. Firmly attach four “feet” and ears to jug with generous use of masking tape, as pictured to the left. 3. Cut coin slot and smooth over with masking tape. 4. Mix a few drops of red paint into white primer, and apply to pig with brush or sponge. 5. Insert tail and embellish with finishing touches such as google eyes (optional), inked face, etc. Insert coins in slot.
