EXERCISE FOR THE WEEK
EVENTS
We are near the end of the season of Lent, and next week, we enter
Holy Week, or as some refer to it, the Passion Week of Christ.
GENERAL
For Christians, next week is significant as Jesus reveals that he is truly
the Son of God. His followers were slowly getting the picture about his
deity, however, this week clinches what he has been teaching about
himself. In the narrative of his death and resurrection, Jesus exhibits
unconditional love and his authority over the power of death. This
revelation of the suffering Saviour is pivotal to the Christian faith.
Thus, we begin Holy Week this Sunday with Palm Sunday, and it
would seen, the entrance of Jesus into the final week prior to his
death. For personal reflection:
~ how has Jesus spoken to you during this season of Lent? What is
your response to his words of encouragement and/or admonition?

~ In preparation for the final week before Resurrection Sunday, write
out a prayer of praise in appreciation of who Jesus is and what he has
done for you. MEN’S MINISTRY
As well, ponder afresh, with new eyes, the journey of death and
resurrection in your life that the Lord is inviting you to. That is, letting
go of the inordinate desires which hinder you from being able to fully
be present to the Lord.

SPOTLIGHT
Bible Study - 5 week video series entitled Brand:New by Andy
Stanley. We will meet 6:30 - 8:30. Format will be watching the
video and then a Discussion on what we have heard. All are
welcome. Come and join us and women from across Kamloops, Thursday,
Apr 13th from 10am for coffee and prayer. This the first
gathering of the Kamloops Women's Prayer Connection. We will
be gathering to pray for our city and each other. This is a nondenominational gathering affiliated with RSVP Ministries. Please
