We also had a very special surprise event. Lee Kempf asked Breannae Smith to marry him & she said YES! Breannae and her entire family are very special friends and we are so happy to have been there to witness this happy occasion. We wish them many years of happiness as they start their lives together and want to thank them for letting us here at the ranch take part in such a special occasion. W W January Recap e have been staying busy here at the ranch and are getting very excited about this year. We have been trying to stay on top of all the water we have been getting and doing a lot of cleaning up. Mother nature has blessed us with plenty of moisture, that is for sure. e have been working on improvements and also on a new long term camp site. The lodge is undergoing some minor construction and we are right in the middle of that project. It has been a pretty quiet month as January usally is. Luckily a 2 Cups brown sugar farmer happened by with his big old horse named Benny. The man asked for help. The farmer said 2 Tbsp. nutmeg Benny could pull his car out. So he backed Benny up Peel apples and cut in slices. Mix apples, sugar, and hitched Benny to the man’s car bumper. Then salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and 2 tbsp. flour he yelled, “Pull, Nellie, pull.” Benny didn’t move. in Dutch oven. Combine margarine, flour and Then he yelled, “Come on, pull Ranger.” Still, Benny brown sugar mashing until crumbly. Sprinkle this didn’t move. Then he yelled really loud, “Now pull, mixture over apple mixture. Bake 35-45 minutes Fred, pull hard.” Benny just stood. Then the farmwith coals in Dutch oven, or bake 30-40 minutes in er nonchalantly said, “Okay, Benny, pull.” Benny 350 F oven. pulled the car out of the ditch. The man was very appreciative but curious. He asked the farmer why he called his horse by the wrong name three times. The farmer said, “Oh, Benny is blind, and if he thought he was the only one pulling he wouldn’t even try. 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
