Show Theme:
“Tales of Movement”
The theme “Tales of Movement” has been chosen to demonstrate the multitude of action
or inaction created in all artwork from lines, triangles, shadows, light, stillness, hexagons,
just anything but always something whether it is a photo capturing the serenity of the
ordinary, a design inward to off the page, a sculpture living in a timely second or a mosaic
holding a special memory. Please allow all to see how you can move space.
Show Dates:
Saturday, April 2 through Friday, April 29th, 2016
Submission Deadline:
Wednesday, March 9th, 2016
Notification of Acceptance:
Monday, March 14th, 2016 via email; notification will
include final forms.

Deep Space Art Gallery, 11020 S Pikes Peak Dr. #50,
Parker, CO 80138 (Lower Level of Victorian Peaks
Building)
Drop off Date/Time:
Friday, April 1st - 3 pm to 6 pm
Saturday, April 2nd - 8 am to 11 am
Due to the short time frames of this show, we ask your
cooperation in maintaining the above schedule. We will
publish a list of the accepted artwork and artists; Should
you not be able to meet these time frames, please
contact someone on the list to assist you.
Artwork Hanging:
Saturday, April 2nd – 11 am - 4 pm
Reception Date/Time:
Thursday, April 7th - 6:30 pm-8:30 pm
Pick Up Date/Time:
Friday, April 29th, 3 pm – 7 pm
Saturday, April 30th, 9 am – 11 am
Deep Space is hosting another show arriving at 12 pm so
there will not be the ability to extend these time frames.
Please work with someone in the show to assist you
should you not be able to take advantage of these time
frames.

To ensure many artists are given an opportunity to show, the maximum size for 2D
artwork in any direction is four (4) feet including framing and the maximum weight
for 3D and/or Sculptures is 75 pounds.
A wall will be devoted to Miniatures with a maximum size of twelve (12) inches in
any direction including framing.
Juried Show:
 This will be a juried show and acceptance into the show will be given on the basis of
the artwork you have taken a picture of and submitted online as a JPG image.
 Regular size and Miniatures will be juried separately.

A minimum of 1 per artist; Maximum of 3 per artist.
 Miniatures Show:
A minimum of 1 per artist; Maximum of 3 per artist.

Prints of hand painted or hand drawn artwork
Eligible Artwork:
Original artwork not previously shown or exhibited, regardless of
date created; This does include photography prints or prints of
artwork that are solely created by use of a computer such as
graphic design, pixel art, etc.
Substitution:
Artwork will be displayed from April 2nd to April 29th. If artwork is not sold, it will need to
be picked up by the “Pick Up” date of April 29th. All artwork submitted will be exhibited
for sale. Accepted artwork may not be removed from the Gallery during exhibition of the
show unless sold, in which case a juried replacement may be substituted.
Artwork Pricing:
Artist decision with consistent pricing amongst the artwork
submitted by each artist, however price submitted may not be
different than the same artwork advertised elsewhere by artist.
If accepted and displayed artwork is sold by any means, during
the show and within 30 days of the end of show, commission to
venue is still due and payable to venue.
