New PE Shed
Our new PE shed is nearly finished and we can’t wait to
transfer the gear we have stored all over the place into it. It
will certainly make access to sports gear a lot easier.
The school has paid for the shed with the fundraising
committee paying for the materials to line it.
Daniel Winter has offered his time to do the lining of the shed
with a bit of extra volunteer help. Thanks for that Daniel.
The children have watched with interest the erecting of the
shed starting with preparing the site, putting in a concrete
pad , framing up and putting on roof and walls and all in a short
time. After each break a lot of progress had been made.

returned at the end of the season.
The key must be picked up by the adult as we
require a signature on the contract with the handover of the
key.
The pool is pretty warm though cold weather makes it hard
to retain the heat.
The pool is open for the afternoon breaks.
Still Calling all Motupipi School T-Shirts!
We are asking all parents to please have a scout around and see if you may still
have a school T-Shirt at home.
We are still missing a large number of our school t-shirts and will need them back
for a stocktake and then athletics. We kindly supply the children with school
t-shirts when they are out on trips or sporting events but really do need parents
and children to remember to return them washed and clean to school as soon as
possible after the event.

Headlice
We have been noticing lots of
untreated headlice in the school
again.
We ask that you please check
your children's hair regularly and
treat if
necessary. Headlice spread and
breed prolifically in primary
schools and it is important to
eradicate them as soon as they
are noticed!
I have my little brothers

it is fun.
