Paver Maintenance - Service Painting of Florida

September 2014
A SERVICE PAINTING OF FLORIDA PUBLICATION
Paver Maintenance
If you have pavers you should have a regular maintenance schedule every
2-3 years. The use of sealer will help you maintain color and that “new
look”, and stains and spills will be much easier to remove. One of the
best investments you can make when it comes to your pavers is having a
high quality sealer applied over the entire paver surface. Using a sealer
will help hold the sand in the joints, can prevent weeds from germinating
between the pavers, will moderate the rate of color change, and prevent
dirt from lodging in the surface. Let Service Painting help you keep your
pavers aesthetically appealing for years to come!

When it comes time to
dispose of your unused
paint, do so responsibly. Buy
only the paint you need so
you can use it all, and then
recycle the steel cans. If you
end up with a substantial
amount of paint left, save it
and store the can upside
down to create a tight seal
around the lid. You may also
donate it to a local theater,
neighbor, community group
or take it to a local
hazardous waste collection
program.
