Have a Wonderful & Safe Summer Holiday!
Welcome—Bitaemo
Our Mission is to Know, Love and Serve Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.
Here at St. Michael’s, the centre of our life is Sunday and daily Divine Liturgy. It is here where we come to know
Christ in each other, in the Sacred Scriptures and through participation in the Holy Sacraments.
Liturgy Intentions
For the Week of July 3rd to July 10th
Sunday, July 3rd - 9:30 am. - 7th Sunday after Pentecost

The months of July and August are
a time of rest, relaxation & travel and
as the summer holidays are now here
and many will be away, we wish everyone a safe and pleasant holiday. We do ask
that you please remember your Sunday obligations - attend Divine Liturgy where ever you are.
Also we ask that you keep up with your Sunday

never takes a holiday from us - He continues to
protect and guide us and is always there for us.
THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!
I wish to convey my gratitude and appreciation to all
those dedicated and loyal UCWLC members for their
support and hard work for the past two years. Thank you
for the beautiful Icon and the two dozen roses that was
presented to me at the wind-up on June 21st.
The past two years were also a new venture for me - to
attend Regional meetings and Parochial meetings and
events. I wanted to accomplish a work ethic at St.
Michael’s and this showed at the parish functions such
as Fall Supper, Bake Sale, Baba’s Kitchen also at
perogies and other needs around our parish.
I especially want to mention the dedicated hard work of
the Altar Guild ladies. It is from them where I learnt so
much. I also wish to thank the ladies and men of our
parish and their extended help whenever
and wherever they were needed.
Thank you. God Bless

GOSPEL REFLECTION: -
"According to your faith be it done to you"
Are there any blind-spots in your life that keep you from recognizing God's power and
mercy? Faith opens the way for us to see the power of God’s kingdom and to experience His
healing presence in our lives. The word mercy literally means "sorrowful at heart". But
mercy is something more than compassion, or heartfelt sorrow at another's misfortune.
Compassion empathizes with the sufferer. But mercy goes further; it removes suffering. A
merciful person shares in another's misfortune and suffering as if it were his own. In Jesus we see the fullness of
God's mercy and the power of his kingdom -- power to save from death and destruction, to forgive sins and lift
the burden of guilt, and to heal infirmities and release the oppressed. Jesus never refused to bring God's mercy
to those who earnestly sought it.
How can we seek and obtain God's mercy? God gives mercy to the lowly in heart -- to those who recognize
their need for God and for His forgiveness and healing power. Faith is a gift freely given by God to help us
know God personally, to understand His truth, and to live in the power of His love. For faith to be effective it
must be linked with trust and obedience -- an active submission to God and a willingness to do whatever He
commands. When two blind men approached Jesus, He questioned their earnestness in order to test and
strengthen them in faith and trust in His power. Their faith grew as they responded to His word with confident
hope. He restored their sight -- both physically and spiritually to the reality of His kingdom. The Lord Jesus
wants us to live in the confident expectation that He will fulfill His promises to us and bring us into the fullness
of His kingdom -- a kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).
Do you know the peace and joy of God's kingdom?
