MEXICAN GRAND PRIX 2017 WRE 17

MEXICAN GRAND PRIX 2017 WRE
17 - 23 April 2017 Monterrey, Nuevo León (México)
Version 1.0 (December 19, 2016)
TO ALL WORLD ARCHERY MEMBERS ASSOCIATIONS
Dear President,
As Chair Organizing Committee (MEX) of the Mexican Grand Prix 2017, which will take
place in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico from April 17 to 23, 2017, I invite you all to be part
of one of the most important events of Archery in America in this 2017.
Monterrey is the capital of Nuevo Leon, state with all the charm of the Mexican northeast
characterized by its impressive mountains, home of visionary people and cordial treatment.
It is recognized for its solid industrial development, world-class education, high standards in
health, quality of life and great environment for business development.
Monterrey is located in northeastern Mexico, 2 hours from the US border. It is one of the
most important economies in Mexico, home to important industrial groups and 3
internationally recognized universities. It has the third largest airport in Mexico.
Athletes in the world know that Monterrey is also a city where important archery events have
been held. In 2012 was held the 1st Continental Tournament of America for Cadets and
Youth. Participants from more than 10 countries have enjoyed the experience of competing
in our city. Those who joined us in advance will no doubt have to come back and be our best
ambassadors to announce our Grand Prix Mexican 2017 among the rest of the world's
athletes.
Welcome to this incredible city that is the scene of great events. Our goals are the same as
those of your arrows, our hearts are ready to make your visit unforgettable and enjoyable.
"Monterrey and Mexico are waiting for you with open arms."
Sincerely yours,
SANTIAGO AVITIA HERNANDEZ
Chairman of the Organizing Committee

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MEXICO VISAS
VISAS
If your country requires a visa to travel to Mexico, it is important that this process be initiated as soon
as possible. Your Federation must send your visa applications to the Mexican consulate in your country
as soon as it is necessary for your visas to be issued in good time to travel to Monterrey, Nuevo León,

Applications and obtaining travel visas to Mexico are the total responsibility of the participating teams.
The process for obtaining a visa requires that each person submit an application through a Mexican
Embassy or Mexican Consulate.
This is a process that must be done by individual applicants, the Organizing Committee can not do this
on their behalf.
The information contained in this document is current at the time of publication. For up-to-date
