They eat grasses like hay.
Rabbits also eat weeds and clovers.
they love vegetables and fruit.
Carrots are their favorite treat but carrots
are like candy so they can’t have a lot of
them.
The Predators!
• Rabbits have a lot of predators.
• the predators are dogs, foxes, raccoons,
weasels, bobcats, lynxes, hawks and
eagles.
• People kill rabbits for food and fur.

Baby Rabbits!!
• baby rabbits are called kittens.
• Kittens are born blind, deaf and hairless.
• In 1 week kittens have some fur but can’t see or
hear.
• Rabbits can have babies very quickly.
• 3 week old kittens can hear and see.
• 3 week old kittens can eat food but still have to
drink their mom’s milk.
• Kittens can be separated from their mom when
their 6 weeks old.

• a boy rabbit is called a buck and a girl
rabbit is called a doe.
• There are English lops, Dutch rabbits,
Angora, Dwarf lop, English spot and
Netherland dwarf.

They live for about a year in the wild.

• Small rabbits can weigh as little as 2 pounds.

• larger rabbits are more quiet than smaller rabbits.

• Rabbits have five toes on their front paws.
• They have 4 toes on their back paws.
• A danger signal is when an adult thumps
it’s back foot.

food.
• Their front teeth will keep growing all it’s
