the south, as an early layer of America’s
latter day(s) fulfillment of Daniel 8:9.
The Monroe Doctrine and its part in the
fulfillment of Revelation 17:11 and “of the
seven” was discussed previously in Unsealing
#155 (repeated below).
Daniel 8:9 (KJV) And OUT OF ONE OF
THEM [the second Syria, the United States,
located in the northwest part of the world]
CAME FORTH A LITTLE HORN, which
waxed EXCEEDING GREAT, toward THE SOUTH [for American independence (from
which came the Northwest Territory with its slave-prohibiting Northwest Ordinance) triggered
the independence of Spanish colonies from Spain toward the south], and toward THE EAST,
and toward THE PLEASANT LAND.
#155 Of the Seven – The Monroe Doctrine
The Monroe Doctrine. The Monroe Doctrine was set forth by
President James Monroe in a message he delivered to the Congress of
the United States on December 2, 1823. It warned European powers
against interfering in the affairs of countries in the Western
Hemisphere, and specifically warned them not to involve themselves
with the peoples of the Western Hemisphere “for the purpose of
oppressing them, or controlling in any other manner their destiny.”
The Monroe Doctrine also said that the American continents were
“henceforth not to be considered as subjects for future colonization
by any European powers.”

The Monroe Doctrine vs. the Holy Alliance. The Monroe Doctrine
was precipitated by conditions in Europe as well as the Americas. The three leading monarchies
of Europe, those of the Holy Alliance of Prussia, Austria, and Russia, in response to the French
Revolution and the rise of Napoleon, and the rise of the spirit of independence against
autocracies, had pledged themselves to “put an end to the system of representative government,
in whatever country it may exist in Europe.” As most of the Spanish colonies in the Americas
had by this time won their independence, it seemed quite possible that the Holy Alliance actually

might try to even restore
Spain’s colonies in the Western
Hemisphere. The Monroe
Doctrine was warning European
powers not to attempt such a
restoration.

Key Understanding (of
Unsealing #155): The new world governments vs. the old world governments. The spirit and
language of the Monroe Doctrine were that of separating the New World’s types of
government from the Old World’s types of government. It was announcing to the world
that American democracy, which was spreading to the South American continent, was not
like the tyrannical and colonizing spirit of the Old World. However, in the Lord’s eyes,
America, the Beast, and the Eighth, is not a “redeemer nation” of mankind, and is not
different than those of the Old World, because it was birthed fallen, and off the Tree of
Knowledge of Good and Evil, like “the seven.”
Revelation 17:11 (KJV) And THE BEAST that was, and is not, even HE IS THE EIGHTH,
and is OF THE SEVEN, and goeth into perdition.
