If you already use the website creator, please proceed as follows to perform a change to our successor
WebsiteBuilder.
Setting up WebsiteBuilder

Login to the System Configurator with your customer or domain data on our website.
Note: If you log in with your customer data, continue with step 2. If you log in with your domain data,
skip the next two points and continue with step 4.

Click on Manage Hosting(s).

Click on Manage.

Click on Applications.

Click on WebsiteBuilder.

Click on Add.

Select your desired version of WebsiteBuilder and specify the desired publish path.
Note: If you use the WebsiteCreator in the root directory or in a subdirectory, make sure that you define
a different subdirectory for the WebsiteBuilder (e.g. / wsb).

Click on Install.

Click on Login.

Select your website topic.

Enter your details below and select Create Site.

Select a design template.

Select Layout and customize it to your liking.

Select Scheme, select a color scheme or define your own color schemes.

In addition, you can manage colors, fonts, corners and borders for your design.

Select Pages to edit the predefined pages, delete and add new pages. Use the arrow keys to change the
position and the level of the selected page.

Select Modules. Drag the desired modules out of the window to the desired place on your website and
lay on your side (drag & drop).

Transfer existing data
If you have stored your data (text and images) locally, skip to point 3. Otherwise, proceed with point 1.

Start your site with your Internet browser
(e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google chrome or Opera).

Copy your data (text and images) of your site and save them locally. You can select text with the left
mouse button, copy it with the right mouse button and the corresponding function (copy). Copy images
with the right mouse button and the Save Image function.

Return to WebsiteBuilder. Now add your text and images to your new website.

Add text with the right mouse button and the Insert function directly in the page content.

Also add images in a page's content. Click with the left mouse button in the content page in which you
want to insert the image and select the Image button.

Do not forget to regularly save your customizations to the site.

Publish website

In the main Menu, select the Publish function.
Note: Please make sure that you enabled for your publish path PHP 5.2 or higher.
If you have questions please contact our support department.

Your website was successfully published in your defined publish path. You can call your website directly
via the link displayed in the main menu (e.g. http://www.yourdomain.ch/wsb).

So that your new website (e.g. http://www.yourdomain.ch) appears when you call your domain, you
have to switch your domain to the appropriate subdirectory via domain mapping (in the System
Configurator). Select Settings.

Select Modify.

Enter your WebsiteBuilder directory (e.g. /wsb).

Your domain is now set on your WebsiteBuilder directory and you can call your new website via the
internet browser (eg Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera).

Note: If you have set up a LIMITED version, make sure please, not to exceed the limit of 6 pages, so that
you can publish your website. If you want to use more than 6 pages, you need to upgrade the
WebsiteBuilder on the FULL version.
