Most criteria for map were met and map is neat in appearance. On Task Behavior You were on task at all times giving your reasonable best effort. You may have helped others stay on task also. You always had your map, directions, colored pencils, pen, pencils, etc. You were ready to work when the bell rang. You may have even started early and or helped others. Governments are all correctly identified in each country. Information about the country is accurate. You were on task most of the time. Prepared for Class Types of Government NOT PROFICIENT 1.0 - 2.0 ( YOUR SCORE) Map was incomplete. Criteria for map were met inconsistently or not at all. Map should be fixed and resubmitted. You were very inconsistent or off task much of the time. You were in your seat and ready to work when the bell rang. You had to go back to your locker only one time during the project. You had to go to your locker more than one time and/or you were not ready to work at the start of class consistently. Very few errors are made in government identification and country fact data. Much of the government identification and fact data is incomplete and/or inaccurate. Fix Map!! Directions: 1. Make your map key. Use a ruler to make a box in the lower left corner of your map. Neatly write in each of the following governments: Dictatorship, Totalitarian/Oligarchy, Theocracy, Monarchy, Parliamentary, Republic, and Constitutional Monarchy. Next to each make a small box with a ruler and put a different color in each box. (make note of exactly which color pencil you use for each) 2. Use the internet to find a list of countries for each type of government. Select TWO countries for each type and color them the color to match the key you made. 3. Use the internet to find the following information about each country and put it in a box in the country or on a line connected to the country. Include in this order: 1.Country Name, 2. Leader’s name, 3.Leader’s title and party (if there is one), 4.Population of country, 5. Size of the country’s military, 6. One fact about the country that is interesting to you.
