Belated Happy New Year to you all. In our first assembly this year we remembered memories of Christmas past through looking at photos of the many wonderful events at the end of last term. We then thought about the year ahead whilst watching the London New Year fireworks on the big screen. Our shared New Year resolution is to focus on being kind and respectful to one another which, along with the Kilmorie child qualities, is integral to the ethos of Kilmorie. This is reflected in the Kilmorie school rules which are: In school we expect all members of the school community to: • • • • Show respect, care and consideration to all Promote good learning behaviour Challenge unacceptable, unkind behaviour Care for our school environment Best wishes Liz STARTING SCHOOL REMINDER 15th January 2017 is the deadline to apply for a school place if your child was born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013. We would appreciate prompt settlement. Please also note that whilst we do our best, we cannot guarantee that children will get places for all the clubs they request. We do ensure every child that has applied is allocated one club before we offer further clubs. This may not always be their first choice. We also cannot guarantee that children can continue with the same clubs each term if the clubs are very over-subscribed. It is important to keep a broad offer of clubs and we have to be fair in allocating places so that children have the opportunity to try a variety of activities.
