The new YMCA in Mitch Park is scheduled to open Fall 2013. A beautiful $22.5 million +, 105,000 Sq/ft facility along with traditional YMCA
programs for all ages. Amenities include:
1/8 scale indoor suspended track (8 laps to make a mile) for running and walking Large group exercise studio for classes such
as; Body Pump, Zumba, boot camp classes Medium group exercise studio for specialty classes, such as; cycling; yoga and
pilates X-Arcade, which will contain interactive fitness equipment for kids of all ages
Full sized gymnasium for sports such as basketball, volleyball, lacrosse and indoor soccer

Edmond Public Schools is scheduled to host the 2014 state high school swim meet in February.

Edmond 66 Park
Phase 1 construction is anticipated to be completed by fall 2013 for the city's new $6 million community park, Edmond 66 Park. This
four-field complex is being created on the northeast corner of Post Road and State Highway 66. The concessions and restrooms will have
a Route 66 theme. This is the home of the Edmond Adult Softball Association which holds league play and tournament play. Future
development at this park includes another four-field complex and additional park amenities as part of this 120 acre complex.

Edmond Adult Softball promotes slow-pitch softball as a form of recreation in the City of Edmond. The association is governed by a
volunteer board. There are leagues for Men's Church, Coed Church, Men's Open, and Coed Open divisions. The summer league consists of
18 games and the fall league consists of a 14-game schedule. Games are played Monday through Friday nights.

Edmond Soccer Club is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1978 to promote soccer to young people in the Edmond / Oklahoma
City metropolitan area. ESC is organized and operated by parent volunteers. Activities of the volunteers include: conducting fall and spring

Edmond Lacrosse Club, Inc. is a nonprofit organization organized and operated by volunteers. ELC includes teams for boys and girls in K12. The regular season is in the spring; however, some age groups have fall mini-sessions.
The mission of the ELC is to foster a love of the game by providing great lacrosse experiences for all the players in the program, regardless

Rugby is about learning teamwork, caring for one another, and developing character. Edmond Rugby teaches unique ball-handling skills to
all students, most of whom have limited athletic backgrounds and almost no rugby experience. The club uses New Zealand coaching
