WHAT TO PACK

WHAT TO PACK
In choosing your clothing, keep in mind that you will be involved in energetic activities, in a hot environment on a daily
basis; comfort and freedom of movement are most important. Staff will have the opportunity to do laundry on their
time off in Hot Springs. Do not bring clothes you could not live without should they be lost or stained. Please mark all
items brought to camp with your first and last name. Camp Ozark is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen
property. This is merely the recommended list of items to bring. If you have questions please contact your campus rep,
recruiter or staff recruiting at 870.867.4131 or e-mail [email protected]. The easiest outfit at Ozark is a Tshirt, athletic shorts and tennis shoes.

SPECIAL ATTIRE
The following is a list of special clothes to bring to Camp Ozark for our theme nights. As you may have
picked up on, Camp Ozark specializes in creating some of the wildest and craziest Special Events you've
ever seen! All of this is accomplished through months of planning, spectacular decorations, and of
course, by a 350+ member staff dressing the part. The enthusiasm and the excitement of these events
are multiplied many times over by the campers seeing you dress up in a crazy Disco costume or as a
rootin' tootin'cowboy/cowgirl! Your crazy wardrobe is essential to the success of the Special Events.
The following items are suggestions so please feel free to be creative within the themes; however you
do need to bring something to wear for each night and come ready to go crazy for the summer!! NOTE:
You do NOT have to spend a lot of money on these outfits. Second-hand and thrift stores are great
places to find costumes, and they are very cheap.

HOW TO BRING YOUR STUFF
All clothing should be packed in a trunk (no more than 15 inches tall) or 1 duffle bag because of cabin
space—you will be sharing your space with campers and/or other staff and will be limited to half of the
space underneath a bunk bed. Please be conservative when packing, less is more. Ideally you should
bring no more than: 1 large bag (trunk or duffle), a backpack, and a small set of plastic shelves for
beside or underneath your bed. **You do not NEED to bring all those things, they are just the most you
would need.
