The Orion Nebula, also known as M42 and NGC1976, is
a green emission / reflection nebula located in the heart of
the Orion constellation.

Orion is a giant and when he walked in the sea, his head
surpassed the water. Impressed by her body, Diane /
Artemis, goddess of hunting and the moon, became madly
in love with her. Every night, instead of taking charge of the
Moon’s chariot in the sky, Diane preferred to go and hunt
with Orion, which obviously began to sow a monster mess
in the race of the Moon and the Sun .
Apollo, the god of the sun and Diane’s brother, decided
to put it in order: he took advantage of the fact that Orion
bathed in the ocean to send him his golden rays, which
made him blind. The poor giant then began to walk in the
sea, blindly, and only his head passed like a tiny black spot
on the surface of the water. Apollo then challenged his
sister Diana to touch this distant rock with an arrow. Vexée,
Diane then grabbed her bow, her best arrow, aimed a long
time, shot her shot ... killing her lover!
Diane placed her body in the sky, amid the stars and, for
good measure, placed her two dogs at his side to help him
in his eternal hunting.
