1. Nominations for the awards may originate from individual and institution. Applicants
can apply for more than one award.

3. Awards & Eligibility:
❏Award For Outstanding Faculty of the Year
The ‘Outstanding Faculty of the Year’ is designed to honor those faculty members
who exemplify the highest levels of performance and excellence in the pursuit of the
Institutions goals and thereby in the fulfillment of its mission. This award honors
senior faculty who have consistently demonstrated outstanding achievements in the
areas of teaching and mentoring of students and junior faculty, research and/or
creative endeavors, service and a variety of other activities which have brought
distinction to themselves and to the Institution.
Eligibility: Full time faculty with the rank of full professors with no less than TEN
years of teaching experience at UG/PG level may be nominated for this award.
Number of Awards: One at International/ National Level + one each of certificate
of- Honorable Mention, Special Mention, excellence, Appreciation & Official
spotlight will be given.
❏Best Scientist Award
The Best Scientist Award gives recognition to scientists who have made outstanding
contributions to research & development resulting in significant new technology or
innovative use of established technology.
Eligibility: Scientist with no less than TEN years of R&D experience may be
nominated for this award.

The objective of ‘Award for Best Faculty’ is to recognize evidence of outstanding
teaching performance over an extended period of time. The award will be given on
the basics of ability to stimulate students to learn, Enthusiasm about subject matter
and teaching, Innovative lectures or educational materials, Concern for and
dedication to students, Constructive use of evaluations, Activities in support of
teaching, and Development of new courses or revitalization of existing ones.

Official spotlight will be given to deserving participants while all participants will
receive certificate of participation. The winners shall be honored with award

8. Faculty Branding Awards-17 does not take any type financial commitment for the
expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging &
Boarding (TLB) and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the
participant himself for attending ceremony. No request for the same will be
entertained by any means. Nominal hospitality charges are applicable for attending
the award ceremony at Kolkata.
9. The evaluation of the entries is undertaken by RwePie, EET CRS & FBA-17 jointly. The
decision of RwePie, EET CRS & FBA-17 will be final and can’t be challenged.
10. Once the entry submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances, however FBA-17
director reserve the rights to disqualify any entry on certain grounds.
