Admire the skyline, swim at a harbor beach or cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Want to see surfing? Spend the day on world-famous Bondi Beach or take a scenic walk to Coogee Beach. The Rocks district is a shopper’s mecca offering a variety of goods, from woodcrafts and unique art to outback fashions. Once the richest city in the world thanks to a gold rush, Melbourne is Australia’s cultural capital with striking architecture, chic galleries and boutiques. Wave at a wallaby or get close to a koala at a wildlife park. Feel closer to the land on a ride on the Puffing Billy steam locomotive through the mountains and countryside. Back in the city, explore a different culture and visit Chinatown — the oldest one in the West. A community of artisans on the northwest coast of Tasmania, Burnie has long a history as a community that makes things, with locally crafted European-style cheeses, fine papers, ceramics and single-malt whisky. Surrounded by accessible wilderness areas, you can still get a glimpse of little penguins and the platypus in the wild. The vibrant shopping district spills onto the beach where you can sit down at a café. In Wellington, travel to a Victorian past as you stroll by the city’s Gothic buildings. Take the cable car up the mountain for a fantastic view or head to the beach. Journey around the spectacular harbor. See some of the sites where the Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed. Shopping opportunities include arts and crafts, jewelry, fine woolens and leather goods. Napier calls itself the Art Deco capital of the world, but it’s also a leading wine-travel destination. Leveled by an earthquake in 1931, Napier was rebuilt in Art Deco style. Take a walk down Marine Parade (a tree-lined ocean boulevard with fountains and gardens), enjoy lovely country vistas or tour an area vineyard and relax with a glass of wine. Explore Tauranga, set on the beautiful Bay of Plenty. Head to the beach or discover the lovely parks and rich history. Visit a village buried by a volcanic eruption and captured in a moment of time. Visit Hell’s Gate, a geothermal park with boiling pools, fantastic geysers and mud baths (the largest of which is Poutamu, “the stairway to heaven.”). Surrounded by tranquil golden beaches, lush forests and dramatic coastal trails, Auckland is a nature lover’s paradise. New Zealand’s largest city is also a shopper’s paradise. Learn about the indigenous Maori and take home some native art pieces or jewelry. The locallyproduced woolens also make excellent gifts. Stunning beauty and history in Bay of Islands. Kayaking, fishing and wildlife watching. An abundance of sea life from dolphins that fly, to penguins that dress in blue. Numerous historic sites at New Zealand’s first British settlement. Personalized quotes are based on your age and total cost of the trip. You will have an opportunity to request an insurance quote at final payment time (end of July 2017). Your deposit is refundable (with the exception of the $100 per person that gets paid to United Airlines) so you could wait until final payment time. Note: There are several free benefits you get (the biggest is the waiver of any pre-existing conditions) if you buy the policy within a couple weeks of receiving the quote that you will not get if you wait. I suggest that you wait to request your quote until you are ready to buy. Insurance quote now Insurance quote at final payment in mid August Deposit and final payments n $500 deposit required per cabin in the form of cash or check. Final payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. n Final payment invoices will be mailed out by July 25, 2017. n Final payments will be due in my office by August 5, 2017. HHH Warning and very important! HHH There is no travel insurance included for this trip! I can send you a personalized quote which can only be done by entering the total cost of your trip along with your ages — that’s how they calculate the price. Although it will not be cheap, consider the fact that I am contracting the air separately for you at a savings of over $300 per person that could be used for this insurance. Also consider that if for some reason we don’t arrive in Sydney before the ship sails, we will all have to pay for a flight to Melbourne and two hotel nights to catch up with the ship. After keeping all your receipts and with insurance, you will be reimbursed for that expense. No insurance — totally your expense! You don’t even need to purchase the insurance now as only $100 per person for United is non refundable until time of final payment. You can purchase travel insurance from wherever you like but NBS Travel Group will not accept any responsibility for clients that opt not to insure their trip. Cancellation dates, policies and fees per person n Cancellation penalties begin August 19, 2017 and increase until the sail date. $100 of your deposit goes to United Airlines and is non-refundable from the time of your initial depost Send completed forms and deposits to: NBS Travel Group, W3175 Kortney Lane, Seymour, WI 54165 For more information call: 920-833-2550.
