1) Irregular Verbs Quizzes
Mondays (Weeks 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8), you will take quizzes to test how well you have memorized the
irregular verbs list: simple form, simple past, and past participle. See your grammar book for
these rules. Study in Fundamentals of English Grammar textbook (inside front & back cover of
textbook). The quizzes will look like this, and you must fill in the missing information:

Wednesdays (Weeks 2, 3, 4, 6, 7), you will take quizzes to test how well you have memorized
the verbs which are followed by a gerund or infinitive. The Gerunds and Infinitives Study List is
on page 2 of this handout. Also, you may review the Gerunds/Infinitives tutorial video on our
class wiki. The quizzes will look like this, and you must write either a gerund or infinitive (or
both) in the blank after the main verb:
